As promised , today I’m sharing the winter edition of a month in outfits. Thirty (mild) winter appropriate looks for the month of August. We tend to be pretty fortunate here in Sydney that our winters are short and not *too* cold. Temperatures here average around 17-19 deg C most days, so you can usually get away with baring a little bit of ankle or leg.
Like last time, I’ve centred these outfits around five key themes; (winter) denim, midi dresses, blazers, midi skirts, and trousers. For the ease of filming 30 outfits, I went bare-legged for the dress and skirt looks, however if it was cold enough to warrant extra layers I’d simply throw on some black opaque tights. The other thing I didn’t do for all these looks was wear a coat – again, this is kinda a winter wardrobe given, and I’ve had a few on pretty serious rotation throughout the last couple of months.
If you like any of these looks, I suspect you’ll probably have a lot of these pieces in your closet already. My wardrobe is founded on basic style staples so most of these pairings are fairly simple (and no brainers). But, where you’d like to shop the look, I’ve provided links in addition to a carousel to every item. Click the arrows to show more.

Hi, I am curious about those Yan 13 Jean’s. They look great on you! How is the quality and fit? Would you recommend them? Thank you

Hi Rachelle, sorry for the delayed response! They’re cool aren’t they? I really like the inseam as it isn’t too long on me, and they have a relaxed bf fit. I usually wear a size 25 in jeans and I went to a 26 just because I didn’t want them to fit skin tight and they’re perfect. The quality is nice too, on par with other denim I own. It has more of a soft, lived in feel. I think the price point is pretty good so yes, if they’re a style you’ve been after, I would recommend. I did have a discount code which might work still if you place an order; “mademoiselle10”. xx
