I’ve been looking at a lot of home and decor inspiration lately, and there was something about this cosy apartment in Sweden that really caught my eye. At 32 square metres, one could argue that it’s beyond cosy (especially for two people…), but it makes up for what it lacks in space with beautiful design elements and furnishings, like the moody colour of the walls, and abundance of plant life haphazardly scattered throughout.
As someone who has generally always had the luxury of space, what I like most about this apartment is the carefully considered placement of the furnishings, which has the uncanny ability of making the apartment seem far larger than it actually is (in photos at least). And then there are the details; like the gorgeous parquetry in the living quarters, the natural wooden cupboards in the kitchen juxtaposed against the modernity of the marble countertop, the light pouring in from the street-facing windows, and that lived-in feeling which emanates from the residence.

Cool!
Gorgeous apartment. I love the floors and hope to do something similar in my house as we will need to replace our current wooden floor within a couple of years.
