I’m a sucker for a bit of embellishment, that small detail which elevates an otherwise simply cut piece. Sequins, beading, lace paneling which resembles cobwebs, in the best kind of way. I was lucky enough to have my friend Megan help me purchase this jumper, from Phillip Lim’s collaboration with Target, which was otherwise inaccessible to me, living in New Zealand. Soft, cosy, and well cut, the folded over weave, revealing some rather subtle diamantes at the neckline was what got me. Simple silhouettes for those simple weekends, of wholesome food, reading, and spending time with those you love, which are always over just a little too quickly.

The sweater is beautiful, the peek of embellishment is just the right amount & so subtle too. I always envy those Americans & their Target collabs, they seem to get better & better each time!

Every time I go through your outfit posts, I’m just in awe of how you managed to put together so many different AND chic outfits. I’m too embarrassed to show mine as they’re so similar. I saw your Instagram feed and thought whoa! How did you managed to nab a Phillip Lim for Target anything?! It’s handy to have friends in the US 😛

You are seriously far too kind. I swear that most of my outfits follow the same formula, and I often think that I’m boring! Wish I could pull off a boyfriend jean like you so effortlessly do. Have you tried mail forwarding? I considered doing that for this but Megan was great in saying she could help me. Shipito is quite handy, and you get to fill out the customs declaration….. 😉
