I recently pulled together a little edit over on the Mejuri website, sharing some of my all-time favourite pieces from the collection. If you’re a long-time subscriber of my YouTube channel, then this round up will come as little surprise – I love wearing dainty-style jewellery, typically in gold, and as a creature of habit, I find myself reaching for the same classic styles over and over. So below, I’m sharing my top 5 ultimate favourites, but you can click through to my edit HERE to check out my nine ‘must-haves’, plus you’ll get free shipping if you’re based in the US or Canada.
Wearing H&M blouse; Assembly Label sweater (similar here); and featuring this Menu Jewellery Box (also HERE and similar HERE)
The Loop Earrings | The Loop Earrings really have to be at the top of the list for me, as these are such a special piece. I co-designed these with the Mejuri team, and have been so proud to see that they’ve cemented their place among the brands classic styles. They’re very dainty, and have a minimal design; two inter-connecting loops. The bottom loop swings around which gives the earrings some movement, and the size means that they’re perfect for wearing both to work or for a special evening out.
The Aquarius Necklace | This was a necklace I didn’t even know I needed, until I had it in my jewellery box. The zodiac pendant sits on a fine (but sturdy) chain, which comes quite low down the chest, making this a great option to wear over sweaters or with a plunging neckline. I’m also quite partial to the matching signet ring.
The Dome Ring | Let’s have a bit of real talk for one second. Aside from my wedding bands, I don’t tend to wear any other rings daily – I’m prone to dermatitis/eczema on my hands if I’m not careful, plus in the winter time, I’ve often got swollen fingers as a result of chilblains. But, that doesn’t stop me from trying, and the ring that has been getting the most wear time of late has been the Dome Ring from Mejuri. This has a sleek and minimal design, but it packs a lot of punch. The thick domed detail across the finger is really eye-catching, and I love how this pairs on my left hand, as it creates a juxtaposition against the fine detail of my engagement ring.
The Editor Hoop | My last two must-haves are going to be earrings, mostly as for me, I find that this is just such an effortless way to switch up your look. As much as I love my Loop Earrings, when I want something really basic and simple, I’ll generally reach for the Editor Hoop. It’s a really beautiful take on a classic design. The hoop itself has a slightly thickened band at the base, plus it’s not an overly large design so it’s very well balanced when worn. These to me are kinda like the white t-shirt of earrings.
The Trio Hoops | Finally, it’s probably obvious that I have a bit of a ‘type’. These are the newest pair of earrings to my collection, and I really love the style. These have a post which goes through your ears, and clasps at the back. These to me feel like a bolder take on the Loop Earrings, and I love the weighty look – but weightless feel – of the design.
