A couple weeks back I gave a glimpse at how my winter wardrobe was shaping up; basically, it was a hit list of all the items I’d be wearing on repeat, with a few things I wanted to tick off to round everything out. Well, I’m basically there now, and I thought it might be fun to show you a little peek at how things are stacking up.
I’d call this a winter wardrobe edit; the best bits. The items I currently want to wear on repeat. There’s a healthy stack of denim, a handful of sweaters I’ve had on repeat, some great blazers, robe-style coats, and a few skirts tucked into the mix too. And as you would expect, there’s a pretty common theme. Monochrome and neutrals.
Much of what I want to wear has been influenced in part by outfits I wore in 2015. Ironic, perhaps, seeing as I feel I’ve spent much of the past few years experimenting with my style, only to end up right back where I started.
In terms of storage, my wardrobe is split across two rooms; our small spare room and the bedroom. I’ll keep anything that is seasonally appropriate or an all year round basic in the bedroom, and all other items and coats live in the spare room. It’s a great way to see my entire (seasonal) wardrobe at a glance, plus the easy access to my out of season clothing means I’m not stuck if I happen to need to grab a mini skirt in the middle of winter.
I’ve dropped some of my favourite winter wardrobe picks below – some in my closet, and some not.
Dear,
can I ask you where did you get this wonderful clothes hanger?
Thanks a lot!

Do you mean the garment rack? I bought it from Freedom Furniture. It’s quite old now though!
