Celine black cami vs ASOS black cami with mesh panel
It’s been a while since I last spent time trawling through the ASOS website, but with some spare time to kill this morning I felt somewhat compelled to browse through their vast selection. Amidst my search for a new top or two, I happened across this cami with a deep v-neck and mesh paneling, which bears a striking resemblance to the Celine cami above (left). While I don’t condone this practice of taking heavy inspiration taken from the original piece, I do understand the sentiment of making a look which is unattainable to most, readily available to the masses at a much lower cost. While I know that this isn’t particularly new in any way, shape or form, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t still topical, especially when inspiration drawn is so near to the original. What are your thoughts on the topic? Would you purchase the ASOS version, which is a mere fraction the price of the Celine?
Definitely save.. I love the look though it’s not for me as I’m afraid of cleavage haha

Save! I’m not the fan of either shirt at all – too much boobage going on but good for Daria!x

They are very similar! I’d definitely say save and get the Asos version, only because I’m sure I’m priced out of the celine version, haha.
Love the Celine cami! The leather-type material definitely makes the piece, in my opinion (but I wouldn’t purchase it 😛 I don’t have the funds for that!)

Also! I just got bloglovin’ so I’m going to follow you there to get notified whenever you update 🙂
The ASOS version is a lot more wearable – the Celine is very shiny! But I’m not so impressed with either. As for high street stores making shameless copies – if we the public didn’t buy them they would stop making them – I guess while there’s a thirst for high end looks on the cheap they’ll keep making them :-/
