We’re officially one week down into my 30X30 capsule wardrobe challenge, and I have to say, I’m feeling really good about it. While I noted yesterday that my colour palette is quite… bland (putting it mildly!), getting dressed each morning has been an incredibly simple exercise.
Wearing Arket t-shirt (not shown); Sheep Included sweater; Christopher Kane skirt (old but this is cute); Vince draped knit cardigan (old but I love this or similar style in a grid check here); Charlotte Olympia kitty flats; Linjer Lana tote bag*; Mejuri necklace*; Ana Luisa ring* (10% off with “Mademoiselle10”)
I felt like going bare legged yesterday, so layered up on top to compensate; the perks of living in a relatively mild climate during the winter months. It all stemmed from a craving I had to wear this camo-printed skirt. My first inclination was to pair it with my Joseph roll neck sweater (as I’ve done in the past), but I wanted the skirt to be the focal piece so I went with dark grey/black neutrals instead.
The Vince “coatigan” was a nice topper that added a cosy element – plus extra warmth – and I liked how the hem draped slightly longer than the skirt in the front. Normally I’d go for a classic black flat with such a “statement” skirt, but figured why not add a little more whimsy with my kitty flats. As you’ll know, I’m not one to miss an opportunity to wear these quirky shoes!
