Early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 (for Icons) has now begun, and just like previous years, I wanted to share my favourites. I’ve spent hours pouring over every single item included in the sale. In my opinion, these are the items worth adding to cart; from budget-friendly to splurge-worthy. Cherry picking all the best bits.

One of the reasons why there’s always so much hype around the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, is that it gives you the opportunity to shop current season styles at 40% off. One of those sales which is always worth making a note of in the yearly calendar.
NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE SHOPPING TIPS
- If you won’t be shopping until public access opens, add items you love to your wishlist. That way you can keep an eye on when they come back in stock.
- Have a list of items you want to add to your closet for the season, and stick to it.
- Use this approach and filter by category if you plan to tackle the full inventory of the sale.
- Best strategy to get the items you’ll love for the season (and years) to come, is to buy now, return later (for those in the US only). This gives you the opportunity to try on styles you love with the items you already own. That way you can make a truly informed decision about what will be the best addition to your wardrobe.
- Shop from brands you know. Sizing differs from brand to brand. By utilising this approach, you’re less likely to strike out during the sale.
KEY DATES
Every year has the same tiered system approach, depending. Nordstrom cardholders get early access (which kicks off today, 6 July, for Icon members). While those without a Nordstrom card get access when the sale opens to the public on 15 July. As mentioned above, don’t be disheartened if the items you love are sold out when public access opens. I’ve found that items pop in and out of stock which is why using the wishlist feature is an incredible boon when trying to snag any key pieces for your wardrobe.

I personally find that this sale is a good opportunity to splurge a little more on brands which might usually be slightly out of your price range. My personal approach? Buy well, wear for years. That said, I’ve got a real mix of price points below. And no, it’s not all neutrals!
