I seem to have two standard outfit combos at the moment. A chunky knit sweater paired with a skirt; alternatively, some kind of tank or blouse paired with high-waisted skinny jeans or trousers. This outfit was a bit of the former, pairing my cosy ribbed sweater from L’Envers with an MLM Label midi skirt which looks like liquid silk. While the only place I’m really getting dressed up for right now is our living room, I still can’t resist a glitzy pair of shoes. The latest fancy addition to my wardrobe is a designer shoe dupe for the Jimmy Choo Bing Mules (also here and here), which I fell head over heels for when I first spotted them a few months back. Suffice to say, the $1200 AUD price tag for the designer version was a little out of my budget; especially considering I seldom would have the opportunity to wear a pair of shoes that special. Frosty mornings have hinted at cooler weather to come, and I’ve been enjoying mapping out my A/W wardrobe, which includes an update to the base colour palette of my wardrobe. wearing L’Envers “johnny” sweater; Assembly Label shorts; Kindersalmon trench coat via W Concept (10% off sitewide with “mademoiselle10”); Muru Jewellery necklace; Mejuri bracelet; Missoma bracelet I’ll typically wear a lot of black during winter (#monochromestyle), but have been enjoying re-introducing a bit of navy to my closet. It’s almost another one of those universal colours that…
