I’d describe myself as a bit of a beauty junkie. Over the past few years, I’ve tried my fair share of products, but it wasn’t until I fell pregnant with our beautiful boy that I really started to think about what I was putting on my skin. More recently, I’ve been looking into the benefits of eco-friendly skincare, and thinking about how I can support local beauty brands. Jurlique immediately came to mind. Essentially where possible, I want to be able to improve the quality and appearance of my complexion, while opting for products that are developed under environmentally-friendly conditions.…
One item in my closet that I harp on about constantly is my Madewell courier shirt (currently available in the floral gingham). I bought this close to four years ago now, and it’s been such a strong staple in my everyday wardrobe. Madewell just so happens to be one of those brands that I really want to explore more this year (particularly their denim). Madewell are currently holding a sale – 25% off everything – so it’s a good opportunity to snap up some wardrobe basics ahead of the new season. Below, I’ve picked out five of my favourite finds…
Never did I ever think I’d find myself buying a pair of sneakers that looked “lovingly” worn in brand new. But, after hearing such great things about the Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers, I decided I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. In the end, the latter won out. I’ve been continuing to love the neutrals trend – something I see being a big style influence for…
Phew, I can’t believe we’ve made it through another month. 2020 seems to be absolutely flying by. This past month, I’ve found myself dipping back into some old favourites, including a handful of serums I’ve repurchased and shared here. One thing I really started to think about in February was how I could streamline my routine. Or at the very least, how the products in my skincare routine could replace or reduce the amount of makeup I applied daily. Time is precious when you’re a new mum, so practicality was the key here. The Makeup Edit Clinique Even Better Refresh…
So this is big news. Arket is finally shipping to Australia. It’s a brand I was first introduced to by UK bloggers a couple years back, and have admired ever since for the simple take on minimalist basics, high quality materials, and ethical/sustainable practices. I’m hoping to place my first order at some point in the next few months as I’d love to get a sense of the quality – as well as share a brand review on my YT channel – but in the mean time, I thought I’d round up five core staples I currently have my eye…
