While I fell off track for a minute there, my wardrobe journey has predominantly been all about finding those wardrobe staples that will see me through the years. Essentially, classic silhouettes that are modern enough for me to want to wear them now, but timeless enough that I’ll still be reaching for them in the years to come. Spring is on standby at the moment here in Sydney, but I figured there’s no time like the present to narrow it down to the essentials; the five shoe styles that I’ll be reaching for day in and day out throughout the…
It’s been pretty gloomy this past week, but that hasn’t stopped me from trying to make the most of my spring wardrobe. Despite the fact that spring usually calls for floral prints and pastel hues, my wardrobe has become more muted than ever before. Wearing Grana silk cami (similar here), Zara gingham trousers (also love this pair), MVN faux leather jacket (old but similar here) Everlane day heels, ABLE satchel, Linjer petite watch, Zersjag earrings, YCL Jewels necklace Instead of trying to fight it, I’m looking to incorporate small touches to my outfits that make them feel a little less…
As I talk more about items that I’m excited to re-wear, and try to emphasise making a shift to more conscious consumption, I wanted to talk a little about what sustainable fashion means to me. With rain expected to fall over the next week or so, it’s not yet time to pack away the winter knits or put those coats into hibernation, no matter how many times you try to remind yourself it’s spring. My winter uniform consisted mostly of oversized wool sweaters paired with slim-fitting jeans and a cute pump – a style uniform of sorts, but I’m ready to mix things up (just) a little bit as we navigate our way to spring. So I thought I’d share one of my quick go-to looks for a relaxed, but put together transitional work outfit.…
So, if there’s one thing I don’t really need more of in my wardrobe, it’s shoes. But, when you’re a shoe-obsessed fiend who is offered the opportunity to trial a pair you’ve had your eye on, you don’t say no. The shoes in question are the Everlane Boss Loafer; a chic pointed toe flat made from a supple Italian leather. Everlane’s boss boot just so happens to be one of my favourite options for the colder months, so I was pretty darn excited about this most recent iteration. And, I personally really like the fact that they’re a high quality…
