image source; pinterest I’ve just recently shared my Autumn/Fall capsule wardrobe, and after more than a year and a half of living with ‘less’, I thought it was time to share with you a guide on how to build a capsule wardrobe. Capsule wardrobes come in varying shapes and sizes, so it’s important to choose the one which works best for you. It’s essentially a seasonally curated closet, which allows you to express your personal style and effortlessly pull together an outfit which makes you feel and look good. Everlane silk cami, Everlane GoWeave Crop Trouser in navy*, Max Mara heels (affordable sandal version here), Teddy Blake ‘carla’ nano bag (similar) My typical Autumn work uniform looks a little like this: oversized silk cami or tank, a classic trouser that cuts off at the ankle, and a low pair of heels. Oh, and a blazer if it’s starting to get a little chilly. Finding the right pair of trousers can be tricky – I know I spent years searching for what felt like a needle in a haystack – which is why I was excited to hear about Everlane’s…
If there’s one thing I know by now, it’s that I have a bit of a soft spot for Rimmel. There aren’t many ‘drugstore’ or budget beauty brands that have continued to impress with each new product I’ve tried, which was why I was really excited to receive a selection of Rimmel’s latest lipstick release, the Only 1 Lipstick. I’m narrowing it down to 30 pieces of clothing – gym gear, shoes, bags and accessories are not included. I’m still in the process of finalizing…
Diptyque limited edition candle in Rosaviola The moment I laid eyes on the petal pink frosted glass of Diptyque’s Valentine’s Day candle for 2016, I knew I had to have it. The packaging is a dream; the collaboration with Olympia Le Tan spared absolutely no detail. And then there’s the scent… a gorgeous powdery turkish rose aroma. I’ve been burning this candle every other evening as we wind down for the night. It’s a little more feminine than I’d normally go for, and the scent is intense with a capital ‘I’. The throw isn’t as strong as other Diptyque candles…
