All good things must come to an end… and sometimes, life pips you at the post and gives you that little push. While I wasn’t planning on parting with my bucket bag from Mansur Gavriel – or a few other pieces from my wardrobe, to go up this weekend – it’s definitely a bittersweet ending, given I waited six (!!) months just to get my hands on this matte black leather beauty. According to The Telegraph, Mansur Gavriel’s highly covetable bucket bag is quite possibly the most lusted after bag of 2015, and with waiting lists ranging anywhere from three…
Topshop stripe top, Karen Walker merchant shorts, Valentino tango pumps, Mansur Gavriel bucket bag, Karen Walker necklace Short of going full on nautical, there’s nothing I like to reach for more in the summer months, than a striped tee. I picked this one up recently, after wandering into Topshop in search of donuts, and after a little switch-er-oo, I decided to include it in my Summer capsule for those slightly cooler days. And for those wondering, given that this is a little of the mark of my previous capsule video , my Opening Ceremony sandals have been tossed to the…
It occurred to me over the weekend that I’ve come full circle with the capsule wardrobe – more than 12 months living with less choice, and I don’t think I would have done it any other way. image source; we the people style I feel a little like I’m going through an identity crisis; that constant feeling of having nothing to wear (and a wardrobe full of clothing). My journey towards a more minimal wardrobe has been both rewarding and not without its hurdles, and if there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that you don’t need a wardrobe bursting at the seams to feel well dressed. And while I feel confident in the fact that I’ve found my personal style – along with discovery what I do and don’t like – I can’t help but feel like…
image source; pinterest This past week, I’ve been craving nothing else but an off the shoulder top. It has been days upon days of the thermostat hitting a minimum 28 deg C, and given this is Sydney, I expect that it’s going to get a lot hotter before the summer’s out. I’m still trying to hunt one down; but I haven’t quite figured out whether to go for a more budget-friendly version, or get a little spend-y. So, while I’m trying to narrow down the style and colour, I thought I’d share some of the options that I’ve come across…
