The end of each month always seems to strike me by surprise, as though I don’t even see it coming – this month, even more so, as it’s been packed with visiting family, having friends over, and sharing in the celebration of a very special day for two close friends. I have a few new favourites, and a few old ones to share with you this month. Starting with my fashion favourites; I’ve been completely smitten with the embellished faux-patent loafers I recently picked up from ASOS. I’ve been eyeing up similar styles from Marni but what I love about…
image source: pinterest After what has felt like – and literally has been – months, we’ve finally started to make some traction on decorating our home, if only with the basics. I tracked down and purchased the industrial cafe-style chairs for our dining table, found a thick white (!!) leaner mirror for our living room, and we’ve narrowed down our preferred coffee table to just two options… I have to admit, we’re tracking pretty well given we lost all of our furniture to a fire when we moved to Sydney early last year; and in a sense, it’s been refreshing…
It’s been a good five years since I first saw the Celine trio casually draped over the shoulder of one of the French fashion elite, and my preoccupation with the pochette-style bag hasn’t faded a drop since. The ceremony, the vows, the exchanging of the rings – it’s enough to get a girl all misty-eyed just at the thought. But, if there’s one thing I always struggle with (aside from holding back the tears!), it’s how to dress for a wedding. Do…
I think we can all agree that finding the perfect shade of nude lipstick can feel like an impossible task. I’ve come pretty close – it’s a mix of Charlotte Tilbury’s Bitch Perfect & Penelope Pink – but I’m yet to find an alternative which *doesn’t* quite break the bank. So, I was pretty excited when I received the new collection of Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Nude Collection Lipsticks by Kate Moss – five creamy nudes ranging from soft pinks to burnt toffee caramels. I’ve been testing these out for the last month and wanted to share with you my thoughts…
