Ellery venus flare shift dress, Celine trio in lavender, Charlotte Olympia panda flats, Kate Spade knot bracelet I’ve been sitting on these photos for a while now; and it’s really hard to say why I’ve waited so long to post them. But it’d be safe to say that they just got a little lost once the great engine of life kicked into gear this past month or so. This year – 2015 – has been a year of simplification in every sense. Thick, buttery chunks of pumpkin roasted and served with feta and little else, rainy afternoons spent indoors watching…
This past month has been a month of pampering. Regular body scrubs, weekly baths, and nourishing mud masks for the face. Given I’ve been getting a little bit of eczema on my face (which I mentioned in my previous post), and had extremely dry lips, I’ve been trying to give both a little extra T-L-C. My favourite lip combo for the month has been a nightly lip scrub using the Mint Julep lip scrub from Lush, and a heavy slathering of Bite Beauty’s Agave Lip Mask to deeply moisturise my lips. It’s been the only combination of lip products that…
image source: one | two I’ve started off the month with a new beauty regime in mind – one which I’m hoping will mean I look fresh faced, and give my skin a chance to breathe. Over the last few months I’ve developed a bit of redness on my face – an issue I’d never struggled with previously –…
image source: one | two | three Luke and I have pretty much dived into wedding planning head first, and it’s not until you start planning your own that you begin to realise how much goes into it. Thankfully, we still have quite a lot of time ahead of us (no harm in getting a little head start!), but as I see it, there’s no time like the present. So while I’m busy deciding on things like venue, menu and table settings (amongst other things), at least there’s one thing I know I’m set on – aside from the dress,…
I’m a good two months in to the Five Piece French Wardrobe challenge and I’ve somehow managed to refrain from adding too many things to my closet. My Dream Box on Yoox would tell you another story, although where’s the harm in flirting with a little window shopping? That being said, I finally picked up the first of my five – the Mansur Gavriel bucket bag – which has been sitting at the top of my wishlist for some time now. I bit the bullet back in September last year and pre-ordered it, a good six months out, and I…
