I’m a good two months in to the Five Piece French Wardrobe challenge and I’ve somehow managed to refrain from adding too many things to my closet. My Dream Box on Yoox would tell you another story, although where’s the harm in flirting with a little window shopping? That being said, I finally picked up the first of my five – the Mansur Gavriel bucket bag – which has been sitting at the top of my wishlist for some time now. I bit the bullet back in September last year and pre-ordered it, a good six months out, and I…
Everlane silk tank, Country Road cardigan, Lover valentine lace skirt, Isabel Marant poppy heels (in gold), Celine trio I’ve been meaning to put this post together for such a long time – something along the lines of a ‘what I wear for work’ series, but time has just continued to escape me. I’ve shared a couple of my more recent work outfits here and here (think ankle grazing trousers and dresses which skim the knees), but this really rounds out the trio; a pencil skirt, silk tank, and a long cosy cardigan paired with the tallest of tall heels I…
My beauty routine has been changing up quite a bit recently with the shift in the seasons. I’ve also added a few new beauty bits into regular rotation over the last couple of months, so I thought I’d quickly share with you what is currently making the cut in my daily make-up routine. Meet Charlotte. Sunday – and Saturday, to tell the truth of it – have been all about this little one. She’s only ten weeks old; a snuggly, timid wee thing, who wasted absolutely no time melting hearts. Safe to say, I’m completely smitten. If you want to see a whole lot more of this bundle of fur, I have a feeling she will be making a regular appearance over on my Instagram feed. Admittedly, she isn’t the only bundle of fur that’ll be soaking up all of our attention (and affection) this year, once we pick up a friend for…
image source: badlands blog It’s the end of week two in our new home, and Luke and I have finally carved out some time tomorrow morning to pop out and pick up a few pieces of furniture to make our space (and I mean s-p-a-c-e) a little cosier. I’ve been taking a lot of inspiration from Talisa’s blog; her home & interiors tag sums it up pretty succintly. A huge Scandinavian influence and a largely minimal aesthetic in neutral tones of sand, grey, charcoal, white, black and rich acorn leather. I’m pretty fortunate that Luke lets me take the lead…
