Bobbi Brown nail polish in ‘Tomato’ It’s a big call, especially this early on in the year, but I think I’ve finally found my perfect shade of red nail polish. It wasn’t so much a discovery but a revelation. A bright tomato red which can last a full week without so much as a chip. Pretty much unheard of for me. I’m talking about Bobbi Brown’s nail varnish in ‘Tomato’, in case you were wondering. It’s still early days, but I’m pretty certain that their formula can’t be beat. It glides on smooth, completely opaque to the point that you…
It’s been a little on the quiet front around here lately. After shooting off to Wellington with barely 24 hours notice, I spent the greater half of the month in the windy city, with very limited make up options, and possibly a few too many lipsticks. While I’ve been stocking up on a few new bits and pieces (I definitely don’t do things by halves), I didn’t quite get the opportunity to try many things, so instead, this month’s favourites are a combination of beauty bits which I just haven’t had the chance to include yet (read: I’ve forgotten…), or…

If there’s one thing I completely and 100 percent wish…
Hi there by Karen Walker dress Bear with me. I’ve got a good few many things to come, but it’ll all come in time, or rather, when I finally get a chance to properly sort through all of my photographs. Until then, I’ll leave you with this quick snapshot, from a couple weeks back.
If all goes to plan, Luke and I will be moving to a house – and I mean an actual house – in a couple of weeks, and perhaps in a typical fashion, I’ve been setting aside a little time each night to plan the decor. Since Luke is pretty happy to leave the majority of the decorating up to me (there’s only one caveat, chairs must be comfortable), it’s going to be a lot of the same; crisp white bed linen, beech-y white dipped furniture, and plenty of soft grey accents.
