Equipment sleeveless blouse, Lover poppy skirt, Topshop loafers, Karen Walker sunglasses I’m getting into the Christmas spirit with a red hued skirt, and you can trust that if there are reindeer antlers lying around somewhere they will probably adorn my head at some point during the course of the day. I’ll be heading off to my parents place soon for a long Christmas lunch, then off to Auckland in the late afternoon to spend the latter half of the day with Luke’s family. Merry Christmas to you all and I hope that Santa brought you just what you had on…
Glassons peplum top, Sretsis skirt, Chloe sandals (similar), Country Rd belt (similar), Karen Walker necklace It wasn’t all that long ago that I would find myself quickly wanting to move on to the next “fashion” thing, rather than wearing the same trend for any extended period of time. Maybe I just hit a home run with these peplums, surprisingly versatile as they have become, worn almost as often as any of my silk blouses or striped knit tops. It seemed fitting to pair it with a whimsical skirt given the time of the year, and as summer ever seems to…
Diane von Furstenburg “zarita” dress, Stella McCartney coat, Tabitha Simmons heels, Eddie Borgo bracelet, Shourouk earrings, Zoe & Morgan ring, Bottega Veneta clutch Raoul peplum top, Diane von Furstenburg “pascale” skirt, Erdem lace top, Lucy Choi London heels, Joomi Lim necklace, YSL clutch, Susan Foster earrings Issa dress, Charlotte Olympia “dolly” heels, Joomi Lim earrings, Venessa Arizaga bracelet, Diane von Furstenburg clutch, Eddie Borgo ring, Lara Melchior bracelet The holidays are quickly approaching, which has me thinking a lot about what I will be wearing come New Years Eve. I’m not sure about you, but this year on New Year’s…
Lover “allegra” dress (similar), Glassons cardigan, Alexander emile tote, Charlotte Olympia kitty flats, Karen Walker belt, Marc by Marc Jacobs bolt bracelet There’s nothing like ending a sunny day with a couple of drinks and good company to quickly whittle away the hours. I met up with Michelle and Nina after weeks of rescheduling to talk Christmas, life, and the inevitable, fashion. As I probably mentioned more than once over the course of a few hours, my obsession with Lover (the label) is at an all time high, most likely stemming from the acquisition of this dress from many seasons…
Sass & Bide “Talara” sunglasses While I’m not exactly in the market for a new pair of sunglasses, if I was, I’d probably be stalking this pair of Sass & Bide Talara’s. I can’t help but be drawn to tortoiseshell sunglasses, and the simple yet seemingly complementary style is what really sells it for me. My Karen Walker ‘Trixies’ are still going strong three years on, but considering the potential to sit on, momentarily misplace or lose a pair of sunnies during the summer months, it doesn’t hurt to have a back-up plan in place.
