Expanding a little on a recent video I shared over on my YouTube channel, I wanted to run through some easy summer capsule wardrobe essentials. To me, these are the foundation or backbone of your summer closet. Depending on your personal style, there might be the odd piece that you could take or leave. But overall, this is a good starting point if you’re after a curated edit of pieces to maximise versatility and potential outfit options. You can watch the video above to hear me chat through these essentials, or skip through to 18 mins 40 secs in for…
For this week’s wishlist, I thought I’d share some of my favourite picks from the YOOX sale, along with a few new pieces I’ve added to my wardrobe. Let’s run through my favourites first…. Tibi beige tweed blazer | I’m having a bit of a moment with Tibi. I first discovered the brand while still living in Wellington, and it didn’t take me long to splurge on my first piece. Amy Smilovic has such a unique POV on style, and that’s evident in her clothing; especially since the pandemic hit. This blazer in particular is gorgeous; it’s an oatmeal-toned tweed,…
Another quick little OOTD wearing one colour head-to-toe. I tend to opt for creams, blacks or navy tones when doing these monochrome looks, so this felt like a fresh take on one of my favourite ways to dress. Wearing Boden cashmere cardigan (size L); H&M trousers (size 36/UK8); Vaneli two tone pumps (size US9 and also here); Louis Vuitton tote bag (MM size); Country Road necklace

Winter has well and truly arrived. NEW IN SKINCARE We’re quite moisturiser heavy in the skincare department. Mostly as I have oily/combination but dehydrated skin. So I put a lot of focus on that last element, and try to balance out…
Proof that yes, I do sometimes wear a bit of colour. Though I might not always document it. Here’s a brief summary of three more “colourful” items I’ve added to my closet in the past month. the oversized yellow knit sweater This knit is literally like a little ray of sunshine. For me, it’s all down to the saturation of the colour. It’s muted in tone, essentially a pastel, which works back to my wardrobe much more effortlessly than a bold bright. Aside from the fun, happy hue, I also love the silhouette. Loose and relaxed through the body, despite…
