There’s always room in my closet for that well-thought out special something. A style which not only elevates your outfit, but also seamlessly blends in with the current contents of your wardrobe. I tend to keep a small running list of such items in the back of my mind, just on the off-chance that I’ll stumble across them. And I recently got lucky on my hunt for a low (or flat) metallic leather sandals. A style which felt like an absolute classic to me. Metallics work with most colour palettes, and they’re a simple way to add a bit of…
Last week we skipped out of Sydney for our very first (!!) holiday since having a baby. A bit of a milestone in itself, but we’d actually booked the trip as a belated birthday celebration to mark our son turning one. Which, boy does time fly. One of the first places that came to mind for our holiday was Shoalhaven – a coastal town which was hit by the bushfires last year – and it didn’t take long to find an idyllic holiday spot. Wearing H&M black/white striped tee; Everlane skinny jeans; Oliver Cabell flats (review here); Quince crossbody bag (review here) This iteration of outfit is something I’ve worn over and over, with subtle changes. A different colour stripe; a slightly different denim silhouette; and maybe a pointed toe shoe. So…
Autumn. Spring. Two of my favourite seasons; mostly for the moderate to mild temperatures, and opportunity to really maximise what I have in my closet. One thing that keeps popping up has been transitional style dressing, so I thought as a complement to this reel, I’d talk through a week of transitional outfit ideas, and the styling tools I’ve leaned on for each of them. OUTFIT ONE Wearing H&M sweater (old but current version linked); Isabel Marant Etoile skirt (old but similar linked); Rag & Bone boots (old but similar linked); Chanel vintage classic flap This is the outfit you…
