Two things you’ve been seeing me wear a lot lately? Wide or straight leg trousers, and an abundance of neutral tones. This is what I wore yesterday… always a risk as whenever I wear white, I spend the whole day trying to avoid little grubby fingers. Wearing Forcast top; H&M trousers (old but similar style here); YSL slides (affordable option); Polene bag; Mejuri, Linjer & Missoma bracelets; Arms of Eve earrings; Stella McCartney sunglasses I talked a bit about these style shifts in a recent post, but one thing I didn’t share was a new “tool” I’ve been using when…
I feel like I’m having a bit of a Sezane moment right now. In addition to ticking off a couple items on my seasonal wishlist from their Spring collection, I also recently purchased a handful of “basics” from their winter capsule. One thing I wanted to mention… While I try to take a slower approach when adding new items to my wardrobe, I find that Sezane pieces tend to sell out fast. Clearly they have a marketing strategy which works. So I’ll typically condense the consideration period by scrutinising their lookbooks in the days leading up to launch, add items…
I always find it hard to sleep this time of year. It’s coming up on six years since I lost my mum, and instead of falling asleep from exhaustion the moment my head hits the pillow, my brain is wired, thinking about everything from a full home renovation we have planned for this year, to ways I want to improve my wardrobe. So in that vein, let’s talk about some style shifts for 2021; ways my style is continuing to evolve, that I’m planning to lean into over the next 10.5 months. Wearing Marle Rita dress (also available here); Nisolo…
I’ve gotten into the habit of relaxing my 30 day shopping rule when it comes to Sezane. Their collections always inspire, and since they started offering free returns in Australia, I’ve begun to take more of a shop now, return later approach. I actually just picked up a few items from their winter capsule (a try-on and review will be going live on my YT channel tomorrow morning…!), but couldn’t resist daydreaming, and consequently adding a bunch of my favourites from the new Sezane ’21 Spring collection to my cart. For anyone curious about how I approach “impulse” purchases, I…
Wardrobe planning for my transitional wardrobe – in my case, autumn – has already begun. I’ve always like to get on the front foot, so to speak, and map things out early so I know where I stand (and what’s missing from my wishlist). And if the past year has taught me anything, it’s that shoes which I can walk miles in are indispensable. Even better if they’re cute. So, with that in mind, today I’m partnering up with Everlane to share a review of their newly launched Modern Loafer, plus three ways to style them. Wearing Everlane chunky cardigan…
