It’s funny how much your mindset can change in the span of a week. The last time I was sharing an update on what I’ve been wearing, I mentioned that I felt frustrated and stuck with this capsule. Today, I’m more at ease with what I’ve picked. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I’m tip-toeing towards the end of this monthly challenge. Or, it could just be down to the fact that we are highly adaptable beings, swiftly working through challenges – no matter how small or insignificant they may be. From an outfits perspective, it’s…
It’s official. Autumn is my favourite season. After spending months feeling like it’s a chore to put on a single item of clothing due to the heat, that transition to layering up cosy separates is a welcome change. Down under, we’re smack bang in the middle of our spring season, but today I’m teaming up with Everlane to share my favourite cosy wardrobe staples for fall. I’d been dressing for cool weather for months at that point; half the work was already done. As strange as this…
I’ve been starting to think that my approach to this capsule was a little conservative. I’d expected that the weather would be somewhat on the milder end of the spectrum, and planned accordingly. When in reality, most days the thermostat has hovered around the 25 deg C mark, feeling more like a prelude to a hot summer’s day than anything else. My original picks were focused considerably around items which would layer well, or at least see me through the cooler days. A third of the way in, I’m beginning to rethink the need for some of those pieces. So,…
I think half the fun of keeping an eye out for each new drop from Sezane is feeding into the fantasy of what I’d buy. Especially now that I’m trying to taper back my new wardrobe additions in favour of saving for home renovations (crossing fingers this will be happening in 2021). But in usual style, the Sezane October collection has just launched, and I wasted no time in checking it out and picking out my favourites. Below is a little look the items that immediately took my fancy. Sezane Otis Jumper One of the first items which caught my…
