Early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 is now open! Every year I pull together a curated edit of my top picks to help you cut through the noise as there are literally thousands of items on sale. If you don’t know what the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is, it’s basically a chance to get a head start on shopping for your autumn/winter wardrobe… on sale. One thing I’ve noticed throughout this renewed capsule wardrobe experience, is that there are still certain items I find myself reaching for more frequently than the others. Thursday’s outfit was a prime example of this; the alpaca knit which is a firm favourite, the faded black slim fitting jeans, and my ever-so-trusty two-toned pumps. Not pictured with this outfit is my khaki utility jacket, which I find myself wearing most days if it’s a little chilly. Wearing Everlane alpaca sweater* (similar style); Zara jeans (old but similar here); Vaneli two tone pumps (alternate option here); The Curated bag* (I also…
I’ve been trying to do this thing where I rotate my skirts, denim and trousers as part of this capsule. Mostly, because I know if I didn’t, I’d end up wearing the same two items on repeat. I definitely had one of those lazy weekends. No makeup, and aside from two 5K walks outside, I was snuggled up indoors with our little one. When it came to getting dressed, I focused both my outfits around wanting to wear a central piece. Wearing Everlane alpaca sweater; Madewell skinny jeans; Everlane 40 hour flats; JW Anderson bag On Saturday, that item was my Everlane alpaca sweater. This is super light and fluffy, and provides the perfect amount of warmth for a Sydney winter. Part of the reason why I think I’m so drawn to this particular sweater is because…
