A quick check in from me today, wearing a combination I’ve reached for in a few different iterations since returning home from hospital. I’ve been making the most of finally having a waist again, by reaching for this sweet ruffled mini skirt on repeat. The start of autumn tends to be pretty mild here in Sydney, so I’ve mostly been wearing it paired with basic tees, camisoles, and the odd lightweight knit. It also looks great worn as above, with a black cardigan thrown over top – unbuttoned, of course.
Wearing Everlane black air tee, Isabel Marant ruffled skirt (also here), Everlane editor slingback heels, Linjer Lana bag, Madewell earrings, Boden bracelet
Black and navy worn together is one of those fashion rules that I love breaking; personally, I think it can look really chic, and the addition of navy helps to soften up the contrast of a black piece – particularly if you have a pale complexion.
I hope that you’re all keeping well, and staying safe and healthy during the current global pandemic. Luke and I have been practising self-isolation and social distancing since our boy was born, and taking every precaution in the hopes that the curve will flatten. If you or your loved ones have been impacted by COVID-19, my thoughts are with you.
As many of you have requested over on Instagram
Sending you all light and love.
