You may have gathered from this post that I’m very into camel-toned coats right now. Up until recently, I’ve never strayed too far from a black coat for winter. Mostly because it’s classic, and it goes with absolutely everything (plus, growing up in Wellington I think I was hard wired to reach for an all black look). But, I love how a camel coat can soften an all black outfit, or add warmth to an creamy-hued look, the later of which has recently been my colour palette of choice.
While I’m not exactly in the market for a second one (winter is too short in Sydney to even come close to justifying it), I thought I’d share a round up of some of my favourite camel coats of the moment. As much of a classic as camel is, I’m also really loving this burnt ochre-brown hue, my fave coat of which is this one here (plus it’s on sale!). For something a little snugglier that you can wear around the house, I think this teddy bear brown coatigan is a really good choice.
