I’m a big believer that you can buy style at every price; a lot of it is having a keen eye, and patience, patience, patience. And as I’ve said before, when it comes to shoes, I tend to have expensive taste, which doesn’t always *quite* marry up with my budget for the season. I’ve had a few requests to share more places to shop the designer look for less, so today I’ve got a round up featuring nine more designer shoe dupes, all of which are so good that they’ll make you do a double take to make sure it’s not the real thing. So let’s dive into it…
01 | The Row ‘Coco’ Mules
I actually shared a dupe for The Row’s Coco Mules in my last post on designer shoe dupes, but a recent discovery is so bang on to the original style, that I just had to share them. This particular style from Tony Bianco has that same look at feel, with a slightly stiffer nubuck leather over the toe. I love that you can go for all black (what is tempting me currently…), or else there’s a slightly jazzier white satin option too if you want something more fun.
02 | Dior ‘J’adior’ Slingback Pumps
Another shoe that I shared a dupe for in my previous post were the j’adior slingback pumps from Dior. I have a pair of these in full grey suede and they are seriously one of the most comfortable shoes I own, and a classic to boot. These designer shoe dupes were another find from Tony Bianco, which I thought were a slightly more interesting take on other options I’ve spotted or shared. I love the patterned detail of the shoe, and the stiletto-style heel makes these look a little more streamlined than Dior’s iconic ‘comma’ heel.
03 | Martiniano Glove Shoes
Glove shoes really had a bit of a moment in 2018, and perhaps the original that really kicked things off were Martiniano’s glove shoes, which look buttery soft and are the epitome of minimal chic. I ended up adding a pair to my own wardrobe from Everlane which are a great slightly more affordable alternative; these do run narrow so will be a bit uncomfortable if you have a wide foot. I’ve done a full review on the Everlane Day Gloves HERE if you’d like to read it.
04 | Balenciaga Satin ‘Knife’ Mules
Pointed toe shoes are an undeniable classic, and last year Balenciaga took things to the next level with their sharp, angular ‘knife’ pumps. It’s taken me a while but I’ve slowly started to come around to the style, and this more affordable pair from Tony Bianco is a great dupe for the satin ‘knife’ mules. The bow detail at the vamp helps to keep these from looking too severe.
05 | Chanel Two-tone Slingback Pumps
Yet another shoe I featured in my previous designer shoe dupes post, but this is a truly iconic shoe, so it’s little surprise that new takes on this silhouette seem to come out every season. My latest find is this grosgrain pair from Topshop in a light grey and black pairing (also available here). What I love about these is the angular detail at the toe which is a nod to one of this season’s trends, and the low block heel. These have more of an ‘inspired by’ feel to them, yet they’re still the kind of shoe that I think would be a worthy and timeless addition to any wardrobe.
06 | Paul Andrew Rhea flats
I’ve had my eye on Paul Andrew’s Rhea flats for some time now; they’re an understated classic, and given my love for slingback shoes, they kind of style I could see working effortlessly with my existing wardrobe. This pair from Jeffrey Campbell will give you that same look for less without the hefty price tag.
07 | Gianvito Rossi Calabria Plexi Pumps
I’ve only ever heard good things about the plexiglass pumps from Gianvito Rossi; leg-lengthening, impossibly chic, and surprisingly comfortable. The real deal will set you back a pretty penny however, but I found this dupe from Leith which will set you back less than $150 and it’s a pretty close match to the plexi pump style.
08 | Balenciaga Sock Boots
If you tend to favour comfort over style, then this next dupe might be right up your alley. Blending the perfect combo of style and comfort, these black and white graphic sock booties from Jeffrey Campbell look like a dream to wear, and they’re a near match for this style from Balenciaga, without the obvious logo splashed across the side.
09 | Hermes Oran Heeled Sandals
The final designer shoe dupe I wanted to share today was this subtle take on the classic oran heeled mule sandal from Hermes. I like that the strap across the foot has a bit more added dimension and support to it, plus my experience with Marc Fisher shoes has been really positive so far – very soft leathers, and well made too.
