After spending weeks scouring the internet, I finally managed to track down a pair of the Aeyde Uma flats in my size. And they did not disappoint. Being such a classic style, it’s unsurprising how versatile they are. Regardless of the outfit, they seem to fit. Whether it is to add in a feminine touch to a more boyish silhouette, create balance with a pair of wide leg trousers, or to take the place of a ballet flat, they’ve instantly become an easy go-to.
On sizing, I went with my true size EU40 and they fit perfectly, despite the fact that I have wide feet plus a bunion on my left foot. My experience with Aeyde shoes has been really positive and this leans into that. The leather is soft, and the shoes themselves are reasonably featherweight. Which on the other hand means that they lack the support that you’d get from a shoe with more robust insole cushioning. 7Would love to know if you have a favourite look!
