It still shocks me to think that Christmas is a mere two weekends – and a bit – away, and that this year has just passed me by so frighteningly fast. Remembering what I did last week, let alone three months ago is near impossible, so it’s hard to put into words what this year has been for me.

But, one thing I have been gleefully easing into are the days which stretch into the evening, and the warmth of early summer which has you hopping to the fridge for a ice cold lemon popsicle to cool down the best way you know how.

For those curious, I’ve halfheartedly started a summer capsule – 30×30 this season, just to get a bit of variety while the sun’s still out – and am exploring the idea of picking up the 5PFW Challenge; but for one season rather than two. Mostly, I’m just trying to find a way to keep myself from resorting to idly browsing the internet and adding to the wishlist, which a girl is want to do when faced with an almost full-blown shopping ban.

So, if you have any interesting tips or tricks on how to keep yourself from browsing the internet after you’ve exhausted all your best-laid plans, please let me know in the comments below – I’ll try anything!

I love that skirt! And the color of that top looks so good with your skin!
Unfortunately I have no good tips to avoid looking online. Every day I find myself browsing and it is only by huge willpower that I don’t buy anything, ha ha!

I like this outfit a lot, the midi skirt and silk tank looks really nice for summer.

No real tips on browsing and window-shopping less, alas. I go through phases of doing more or less depending on how busy I am with work and the like, but it doesn’t seem to be a habit I can shake completely!

Just keep reminding yourself that you’ve been gazing into a computer screen everyday at work, so when you get home, that should be the last thing you want to do! Rest your eyes! You will need their strength when net-a-poter (oz/nz site) has a sale later this month 😉 as well as all the other usual suspects

You are so right! I’ve actually been avoiding the shops a lot as of late (and instead shopping my closet) – best thing for the bank balance haha
