Alice McCall idocrase top (I also love this one!), girl. by Band of Outsiders skirt (similar style), RUBY kingsley flats, Karen Walker earrings, Kate of Arcadia clutch (similar)
I’m not sure if it’s the freshness of a new year, or the long-standing feelings that my wardrobe has been in somewhat of a rut the past six months, but I’ve resolved that 2014 is the year that I bring a bit of colour back into my outfits. Starting small with a oceanic beaded silk tank and some cotton candy pink bow flats to an otherwise blank canvas.
I’m looking forward to being able to fling open my closet doors to find some bright colours and heavily patterned dresses glaring out at me, rather than the lacklustre array of muted tones and abundant stripes. While I’ve loved the ease of getting dressed that a pared back wardrobe allows, it’s not without days where I have “nothing to wear”, and why not wake up on those sun-dappled mornings to a bit of fun as opposed to 100 different shades of grey?

That top is so much fun! I love the texture and color of it 😀

Love the green colours in that top. I’ve always found the idea of a wardrobe with just neutral and muted colours really appealing, but I just can’t help myself buying colourful and printed pieces. So the clothes in my wardrobe are either really really basic or really really colourful haha.
Such a pretty, spring outfit! I really love that top. <3
LOVE this dress! It’s so cute!!! Those flats are adorable too!
