It’s become something of an annual tradition to do a deep dive into my closet, to cherry pick the items I love, that are marked down as part of the Black Friday/Cyber Week sales (okay who am I kidding, Black Friday month at this point!). Today’s instalment of items I own on sale is centred around accessories. More specifically jewellery, bags, and shoes.
JEWELLERY
Mejuri | One of the few jewellery sales I’ll always earmark in my calendar, as these discounts happen just once every year. Perfect opportunity to buy something for a loved one ahead of the holidays, or to treat yourself to anything you’ve been eying up. Some of my current favourites include the heirloom ring (in garnet), the diamond pave Huggies (classic but with some sparkle), and the silver dome cuff. For every day, I’m often wearing this sweet pave diamond pendant necklace. Shop 25% off everything on orders $150+.
Pamela Card | A smaller boutique brand which makes the most beautiful jewellery pieces to treasure. All of Pam’s designs are wax-cast so have this old world feel to them which is enhanced by the textured look of many of her pieces. The earrings in particular are especially divine; I adore these and these. You can get 10% off at anytime using my code 10PCJAMIELEE, otherwise get $40 off your order and a $40 gift card on al orders.
Linjer | I’ve been working with Linjer for close to a decade at this point, and the brand has cemented itself as one of my go-to’s for classic, timeless designs. You can get a top up on their Black Friday sale with my code MADEMOISELLEJAIME, and I suspect you’re probably well familiar with my top picks at this point. The Mathilde pearl drop earrings (these, you would never regret buying!), the petal chain necklace (looks like dancing sparkles when it moves), along with the Ilse ring luxe (adore the asymmetrical nature of this style). You also can’t go wrong with any of their 14K gold Huggies. Perfectly practical for everyday!
Monica Vinader | For slightly more organic designs, I do love Monica Vinader. MV jewellery has more of an amber golden hue, which sets it apart from the other brands on my list. My favourites are unchanged; this chunky organically shaped bangle (great for mixing up your bracelet stack), and their beaded necklaces are a fun addition to rotation during the warmer months. There’s a standard 30% off sitewide, with daily deals.
Arms of Eve | A brand that I just started wearing this year, but there’s one particular piece that is firmly entrenched within my weekly rotation. This super chic – and hefty – chain bracelet. So far so good, and they have up to 40% off sitewide.
Cantermelon | Technically not jewellery, however their luxury phone chains do double up as necklaces, chokers and bracelets. And we all know how I love a wardrobe staple that does double duty. These are handmade in New Zealand, and are that one thing you didn’t know you needed. Also makes a good gift for the person who has everything. They have 30% off sitewide (auto-applied at checkout) and free phone chases with every order.
BAGS
Madewell Bucket Tote | When a bag you added close to midway through the year has managed to outpace all others as your most worn for 2024, you know it’s good. I’ve done an in-depth review of this bag HERE, and I’d say my sentiment towards the bag has only deepened since. I do now have two scuffs at the base, something I’m hoping to self repair, but this wasn’t typical wear and tear (context: my son tried to lift the bag to carry it to me and dragged it along gravel). The leather has softened up deliciously with use, and the functionality far outranks all my other bags. It’s the one I travel with, I use when I’m with the kids, for work, when I want to run errands. Basically every element of my life – bar an evening occasion – this seems to work for. And no the Chocolate Raisin hue doesn’t bleed onto any of my clothing but this could be a potential issue with the suede iterations. Currently 30% off with code MADEBETTER.
MONOROW Blanc Bag | If you like The Row’s Margaux Tote, but don’t *love* the price point, then this is a good alternative which gives off the same level vibrations, without feeling like a “dupe”. The base has extra structure to it, while the sides are on the softer side. Only downside is that it’s top handle only, but otherwise a really smart option for work.
Senreve Mini Maestra | The really neat thing about this bag is that you can transform it from a crossbody/shoulder bag to a backpack using the adjustable straps. The leather is durable and scratch resistant, the interior has a lovely velvety microsuede lining, and the shape has a lot of structure to it. It just feels sturdy, you know? Worth noting that because the leather is so thick – this is what gives it such a rigid shape – it is a little heavy before adding anything in. Otherwise, I can’t fault it.
Saben Mini Coco Bag | I have many, many favourites from Saben. But I thought I’d highlight the Mini Coco here as it holds sentimental memories for me. Besides that, I love that it adds so much textural interest to an outfit, and the size perfectly fits all the necessities. You can use my code JAMIELOVESSABEN15 to get 15% off. Another fave is the Tilly’s Big Sis, and the Matilda is great too for a supersized version!
J.Crew Bucket Tote | Because of how much I loved my Madewell Bucket Tote, after some consideration I decided to order this similar style from J.Crew. I figured it was apples and oranges. Both within the same family, but different enough that I’d not feel I’d bought two of the same thing. Which has definitely turned out to be true. The quality of the bag exceeded my expectations and I would say this feels like a more premium version of the Madewell tote, but a downside for me is that the strap is fixed. Not adjustable. So it sits a little too high up under the arm for me. Fine for spring/summer/autumn, but deep winter when I’m (hopefully) wearing a thick coat, I’ll be carrying this in the crook of my arm. It has grown on me unbelievably though, and I love what the snake embossed leather adds to an outfit.
SHOES
Ally Shoes Tall Boots | I’ve said this quite a lot of late, but I have little tolerance for uncomfortable shoes. So any time I find a pair that go above and beyond in the comfort stakes, I’m thrilled. Ally Shoes have turned out to be just that. They’re designed with targeting cushioning for ultimate comfort, and I can say that I’ve put both their pumps, flats and now heeled boots to the test and all pass a full day of walking around – zero blisters, zero discomfort – with flying colours. Latest fave are the Tall Boots, but you can currently get up to 20% off site wide. I recommend using their fit finder to determine your perfect size.
Aeyde Delia Pumps | One of my favourite recent shoe purchases, these are beyond comfortable. I’ve had this experience with Aeyde across the board so far; feeling quite confident buying shoes from the brand (though always better when they’re on sale!). The leather is very soft and supple which combined with the low heel height makes these a good contender for days when I’m on my feet a lot. They fit true to size.
VIVAIA Margot Mary janes | Talking about comfort, VIVAIA is another one of those brands that I tend to lean in on. At one point, I was clocking up 10K steps a day wearing their Aria5 Flats. Their shoes are made using recycled yarn so they flex and mould to the shape of your foot, and many styles are machine washable (some are water repellant too). Currently in my spring/summer capsule are the margot Mary janes in a fun, vibrant red hue. My code BFMJ will get you up to 30% off your order.
Margaux red ballerinas | I’ve done a pretty in depth review on these ballerinas in this blog post HERE, but of course had to give them a mention. The style is incredibly classic in terms of the design, which cuts quite low across the toes. Lots of padding in the in-sole, and the leather is incredibly supple. Surprisingly more robust than I expected too – mine don’t have any scratches! There’s 20% off almost *all* styles.
Jo Mercer two tone flats | I got these shoes from The Dom, and they have so many epic deals for Black Friday that I kind of had to mention them. Jo Mercer, for example, are an additional 45% off with code CYBER20. Some brands are offering an additional 20% off orders $200+ and so on. Anyway these shoes I got as a replacement for THESE Vaneli two tone pumps that had given up the ghost but I couldn’t bear to part with them. First true to size. I wear EU40.
AERE red caged sandals | A sale purchase which is a steal; giving The Row X Jil Sander vibes but a fraction of the price and leather too. These are currently under $50, with an additional 30% off at checkout. Would be rude not to – perfect for the festive season (I think I might wear these for Christmas!). Fits true to size, and the heel height is extremely walkable!
Everlane day gloves | Wrapping up this little wardrobe review with the Everlane day gloves. Since I first trialled them around 7+ years ago, they’ve become a solid workhorse in my every day wardrobe. Truly, effortlessly comfortable. Especially now that the insole width has been increased after a design change. I’ve tried out a few colours over the years, and have to say the darker hues hold up better. Specifically the black, still look really good despite wearing them over 50 times, and not gently either!
And if you’d like to see me chat about all these items in video format (along with try ons!), you can watch my video below. Hope you found this run through helpful – leave any other questions about these items (or anything else) in the comments. Curious to know if you’ll be shopping any of the Black Friday sales?
