While the only place I’m really getting dressed up for right now is our living room, I still can’t resist a glitzy pair of shoes. The latest fancy addition to my wardrobe is a designer shoe dupe for the Jimmy Choo Bing Mules (also here and here), which I fell head over heels for when I first spotted them a few months back. Suffice to say, the $1200 AUD price tag for the designer version was a little out of my budget; especially considering I seldom would have the opportunity to wear a pair of shoes that special.
As far as the high street goes, these shoes are almost a perfect match. I love that they’re 100% leather, made from high quality materials, and aren’t patent like the original Jimmy Choo Bing mules (which I find not as forgiving for wide feet – or if you have a bunion like me!).
It’ll be a while before I have an actual occasion to wear them – we are on lockdown after all – but they struck me as the kind of shoe I’ll still happily reach for six, twelve, or even eighteen months from now. The peachy nude hue is very flattering, and has a leg lengthening effect, while the crystal embellishment across the vamp looks like jewellery for your feet.
They come in a few different colours – including black, silver, white and magenta – if the nude pair aren’t for you. If you’ve similarly been on the hunt for a good dupe for the Jimmy Choo Bing mules, I’ve popped links to a few of the places you can track them down in the carousel below.
OMG!! Those mules are amazing! the color is gorgeous and the design… to die for!
