A version of my current go-to outfit, and the items I find myself reaching for on days I don’t know what to wear. Nothing groundbreaking, especially considering when you dilute it down this is basically a t-shirt and jeans look. But details matter. How the t-shirt fits (these Ceres Life ones are my FAVE!); the relaxed trench coat; the crop of the jeans. Even something as simple as styling it up slightly with an oversized knit over the shoulders. Despite being “styled”, it’s pragmatic too. If I’m cold, I’ll throw this on with a little French tuck, and still feel good in what I’m wearing.
Of course I’ve leaned into that heavily neutral colour palette which has dominated my closet for years. My best tip for when you don’t know what to wear? Stick with what you know. For me, that’s neutral tones, classic silhouettes, with slightly feminine touches.
