You probably know by now that my most worn and most loved basics come from Everlane. The 90s cheeky straight has quickly become one of my most reached for styles this winter, and their air tees are a favourite for their lightweight airy drape, and easy fit.
So naturally, I’m always keeping tabs on their new arrivals, to see what’s next from the brand. And today, in partnership with Everlane, I’m sharing a round up of my favourite basics from their latest launches.
Everlane Air Muscle Tank
This is an oldie but a goodie, and I wanted to mention it as Everlane have launched some new colours. Great if you want to branch out from the classic wheelhouse of white, grey or black. For me, this is the perfect summer tank. It sits quite wide across the shoulders, and has a light, airy feel to the fabric. The white is ever so slightly sheer, though works well with a skin-toned bra underneath. I wear my air tees each week without fail, so expect to see this one pop up in my spring or summer most worn items.
Worn here in size S, paired with the Everlane 90s cheeky straight, Everlane canvas basket tote, and Dior slingback flats
How to style it: Pair simply with denim shorts and a slide sandal for an easy summer look. Adorn your neckline with layered necklaces for some added sparkle. Knot it at the hem to expose a little bit of midriff, paired with a midi length skirt. Worn with your favourite straight leg jeans (mine are the 90s cheeky), with an oversized blazer thrown over your shoulders for good measure.
Everlane Short-sleeve Crew Neck Bodysuit
Next up on my list is the short sleeved bodysuit. This I love because it’s a great alternative to the fitted tee, and much lower maintenance too. It gives you that nice seamless line; no need to tuck and re-tuck throughout the day. Also has some nifty snaps at the crotch which make wearing this a breeze. A great basic to have on hand that goes from work to weekend, too!
Worn here in size S, and paired with the Everlane authentic stretch skinny, Everlane oversized wool blazer, and About Arianne pumps
How to style it: As an underpinning, with a blazer, chunky cardigan, or long sleeved-shirt shirt worn open over top. Worn simply with your favourite jeans for a streamlined silhouette. With a slip skirt or underneath a slip dress for clean lines at the waist.
Everlane Tie-back Linen Top
Perhaps my favourite recent addition from Everlane, this is a top that is all business in the front, and party in the back. And I love that juxtaposition. On first glance, it’s unassuming. A gathered neckline and a-line fit that doesn’t give much away. Until you turn around, and get a glimpse of the exposed back with ties keeping it all together. The very definition of a basic with a twist, and a simple way to keep your transitional and summer wardrobe feeling fresh. I especially love the oil green colour. Not one to miss if you’re a lover of earthy-toned neutrals.
Worn here in size 4, and paired with the Everlane authentic stretch skinny, and ASOS sandals
How to style it: Worn loose with skinny jeans, or high-waisted denim cut offs. Semi-tucked into a midi skirt for a more subtle effect at the back (something stretchy and ribbed would be fun!). Paired with tailored trousers and a strappy heel. Layered over a long sleeved knit in the same colour, perhaps something with a light, wispy texture.
Everlane Boxy Oxford
One of my other picks for this month was this classic striped shirt. A wardrobe classic you can’t really go wrong with. And I was especially drawn to the large pockets on the bust; the devil truly is in the detail. This shirt is made in a thick, heavyweight cotton. That gives the shirt a lot of structure, which can make for some fun styling opportunities. I paired it here half tucked into a white denim mini (possible due to the high side slits), but imagine this shirt worn with linen trousers. This is a great option for work to weekend; it’s durable enough to stand up to any casual activities, but crisp enough to hold its own in a formal office too.
Worn here in size S, with a white denim skirt and two tone pumps
How to style it: Worn loose with tapered trousers. Tucked into denim with a simple slide sandal on your feet. Layered over a slip dress, knotted at the waist. Styled fully open, perhaps worn as a beach cover up.
Everlane Day Toe-Post Sandal
These sandals are a minimalist lover’s dream. They’re elegant and chic, and the curved cut out across the foot adds a touch of visual interest and makes these anything but basic.
I like that they’re an easy slip on and go. Like a flip flop but fancy. Shoes like this tend to end up being the most worn in my closet, as they’re so effortless. Plus, they’re pretty comfortable too. The rubberised sole (backed onto leather) creates a little bit of extra cushion – perfect for a summer stroll!
Worn here in size US9.5
How to style it: Paired with an oversized slip dress. Finishing off an all black look. With a crisp tailored shirt and denim shorts. Worn with tailored trousers and a silk camisole.
Everlane Canvas Basket Tote
Now this is the kind of bag I can get behind. Especially as a mum; practicality is always top of mind. For when we’re able to get to the beach, or head to the park for a picnic, this is what I’ll be taking with me. With a 15.5L capacity, it’s got enough space in there for a small throw or towel, or your essentials (which tuck neatly into a zip-up pocket), not to mention a book, a packed lunch, and water bottle. Plus then some. The straps are really nice and thick, which sit comfortably on the shoulder, and being a cotton canvas tote, it tucks under the arm really nicely.
I opted for the natural as I love a light tonal look for spring/summer, but it also comes in classic black, a warm toasty brown, and an aegean blue.
Worn here with the Everlane flowy jumpsuit and Tibi sandals
How to style it: With everything. Denim, floaty dresses, tailored trousers. You name it and I’ll probably be wearing it with this bag. Given the oversized shape, I find this works especially well with clean silhouettes.
And because I couldn’t resist, I also wanted to link some of my other favourites down below.
Thanks again to Everlane for partnering with me on this post 🙂
