Diane von Furstenburg ‘April’ leopard print pumps
I’m one of those people who is constantly compiling lists. Lists for groceries, lists of errands to run, lists of things to cull from my wardrobe, lists of things missing from my wardrobe… After much thought, and careful consideration of the contents of my wardrobe, it occurred to me that one of the things that was missing was a pair of leopard print heels. For the most part, I suppose I consider them more of a novelty than anything else, although then I would probably be talking about the greater part of my wardrobe. Admittedly, not my first pair of leopard shoes, but rather my second, or perhaps third, it’s too easy to forget. A few years back I purchased a pair of leopard spot high heel booties, and it didn’t take me long to realise that they were all wrong for me, in essence killing any inclination to own a pair of leopard print shoes, until now.
As with most purchases, my initial thought before I head to the counter, or press “buy now”, is ‘how many different ways can I wear this?’, with my mind set at four as a minimum. Of course my second thought is generally ‘do I own something similar?’, although realistically that rarely seems to factor into the purchasing equation. It didn’t take me long to dream up my first four outfits, combining things like clashing prints, striped top and skirt combos, denim of all colours, and of course a simple black dress.
Do you own a pair of leopard print heels? If so, how do you wear them?
I LOVE those! The shape is so great!!! I have my Miu Miu leopard sandals that I wear with anything, haha. I love them 🙂

I have a pair of leopard flats and I just love them- haven’t ventured into leopard heel territory just yet but I love the idea of a leopard heel!

I’ve only just caught up with my blog reading and found out that it was your birthday more than a week ago. Happy belated birthday, Jamie-Lee! You definitely can’t go wrong with a pair of leopard print heels. I wear my leopard print flats more than any others and am considering getting a pair of heels in similar print too.
You’re such a logical shopper! I’ve been seeing leopard being treated a neutral as of late, so I think you can definitely work these 🙂

perfect leopard heels! it’s a fine line with leopard shoes between classy and trashy and these are 100% classy with the classic shape. the heel looks like it will be really comfortable. they’ll definitely be versatile, you should have no problem getting 4 outfits out of them! x
Love leopard print heels! I have more than one pair!
I love Leopard, I owned 2 pairs of flats….I found them just fit with any outfit, (brown and black). I am looking to purchase the Kobe Husk Leopard flat ATM. my two old pairs were quite worn now….you will not regret.
i like leopard prints, but don’t incorporate them in a big way into my wardrobe – I feel like shoes are the easiest way. i have a pair of leopard loafers and i like how they change the mood of one of my typical jeans and t-shirt outfits.
i like your heels: the print is just the right colour and size!
Gosh I love leopard print too! However, I knew heels would not quite suit me and I tried a few different ones out, some the print was too cheap looking, some too yellow, too orange, too brown etc..it was a difficult search! My search ended with some leopard wedges (Christian Louboutin). The heel is not too high and I wear them with trousers, skirts and dresses and now looking forward to pairing them with my casual bf jeans for the first time. Actually I LOVE exotice prints and have stripe zebra low heel sling backs and some python kitten heels – almost a mini zoo 🙂
I love that heels

Glad to know I’m not the only one who makes an insane amount of lists. In fact, I’ve been thinking of making a list of all the lists I’ve made in order to keep track of them all, ha.
I’ve never owned anything leopard printed- not sure why. I guess I associate the print with being someone who’s very courageous, bold, and loud- unfortunately, none of which I am. I can’t wait to see the outfits you pair these heels with. 🙂
I love this style of shoe with leopard print but they can be tricky to get right!

Ooh, I’m such a list-maker too! I have a running to-do lists, and countless shopping/wishlists! 🙂
I have a pair of leopard heels, and I wear them with almost anything. They can be the focal point of a mostly-neutral outfit, or they can be treated as a neutral themselves! So versatile.
Happy Valentine’s!

Beautiful leopard print heels! I don’t have a pair of leopard print shoes, I do try a few nice ones on from time to time when I see them, but can never seem to find the perfect pair.
