Today is an ode to the classics. The beige trench, the skinny jean, and my personal favourite, the Breton striped tee.
I’ve been playing it (mostly) safe, as we head into winter, and those classic fail safe pieces always just happen to be the easiest thing to grab on those rushed mornings – not to mention thankfully appropriate for a day in the office (if you work in a creative industry like me, that is).
If there’s one thing I’ve been looking forward to this week, it’s been the weekend; two days of absolute bliss, with no one to answer to but myself… and our two little rascals. We’re headed to Canberra next weekend to visit family so the next two days are going to be all about recharging those batteries for the week ahead. And what better way to do it in the comfiest, cosiest striped tee you can find…
Can you ever go wrong with these classic pieces? They all stand the test of time. I like to wear this exact combination sometimes at this time of year. You look lovely Jamie-Lee and I hope you enjoy you weekend.

Thanks Deb and you too!
Love this outfit! It shows that basics truly are all we need. Such a perfect look! And yes, I need a good recharge, sadly I won’t get that this weekend as I’ll be in the car for 11 hours on Saturday/Sunday driving to visit cousins, haha!

Love this outfit! I can’t wait for it to get cool enough in Sydney to wear outfits like this again.

It’s been so hot here hasn’t it? Not enjoying the frosty mornings though, makes getting ready for work so hard!
