Never wanting to put a foot wrong, I’ve always had what some might call an obsession with shoes. Most nights when I’ve lost myself within the depths of the internet, it’s usually as a result of some wishful – shoe – window shopping, which as you can imagine, can end up being a bad thing for my bank account.
While I love a good heel as much as the next girl, anything particularly vertiginous is generally reserved for the odd evening out. I’ve taken to giving my feet a break, opting for comfort over style most days. In the summertime, my Opening Ceremony sandals seldom leave my feet, and as it cools down, it’s generally a toss up between my Acne Studios Jensen boots, or my Charlotte Olympia kitty flats (as battered as they are).
I’m certainly not racing to count the number of shoes I have sitting in my closet, but my latest video, sharing my shoe collection, does the work for me. What it doesn’t show? My wedding shoes, and the three or so pairs that I snapped up as an early birthday treat to myself…
Loving the collection!

Thank you! You take some LOVELY photos over on your blog by the way xx
wow lovely shoes! xO!
What a great shoe collection! I’m unfortunately quite ‘hard’ on my shoes … No idea how or why, so my collection has dwindled a bit over the years. I think $150 is my limit now – I wreck them too quickly. You’ve given me a bit of inspiration to jump back on ASOS and have a look though.

Thank you lovely! I generally am too so I try and TOPY sole my nicer shoes to give them a little bit more life. You can find the odd leather pair on ASOS which are good quality and not too expensive if you look hard enough though, and Topshop is great too!
Good flats are as important an investment as a heel!! For sure! I have a few statement flats that I love for the very relief that they offer from wearing heels to an event while still creating something interesting!

I walk about 40 minutes to and from work so I’m usually wearing a low heel or a pair of flats these days. I want to get into the habit of taking a pair and leaving them under my desk but it feels a bit redundant given that my office is quite creative and the girls in marketing wear jeans!
