It’s not very often that I’ve left the house at 9:30am to head into town. It’s also not very often that I become so enamored with a piece of clothing that I wear it three times that week, which, when being completely honest, is still four times less than I really wanted to wear it. As far as I’m convinced, that’s the sign of a good purchase just there, fulfilling the oft hopeless wish that whatever purchase you have made will make a feature more than once or twice in its lifetime considering the proliferation of fast fashion.
While I spent most of the day either in cafes or at the shops, there was no hidden pretense today. Karen Walker’s new collection ‘Fantastique Magnifique’ literally hit the shop floor as of today, and I clearly could not keep away. Unlike most other seasons, which are spent trying on virtually every garment style available, in each and every colourway, I instead gravitated towards the shoes; which, can we talk about these for a moment? Undoubtedly in my mind one of Karen’s best yet collaborations with Beau Coops, with the contrasting colours allowing for an interesting point of difference. I somehow managed to have almost every shoe available stacked up outside my changing room as I deliberated over my options in both style and colour. Potential double ups coming my way, but then when can a girl truly ever have too many shoes?
That’s a gorgeous outfit- I don’t blame you for wanting to wear it so much! It looks like you had a fabulous day in town and those heels on the very left are just amazing- hopefully you ended up buying those.
Love love love that skirt and you are completely right you should wear the things you love as if there is no tommorow (or a giant closet in your room full of other stuff :D)

Very chic outfit. Love those cream/mint loafers. I would wear those every day. I also like the heels in the same colour, that are sort of half way between a pump and a bootie. *If* I were a heels kind of girl, I would go for them 😉
