I wasn’t expecting it to be so rainy in Sydney – or cold for that matter – and while I was rather certain yesterday that an umbrella and a coat were unlikely to be necessary through the week, and I could not have been more wrong. The rain I was prepared for, the cold, not so much, and while waiting to meet up with my younger sister I somehow managed to become victim to a huge spray of water from a passing vehicle – while standing as far away as possible from the curb I might add. Perhaps fortuitously placed, the Manning Cartell store was only a hop, skip, and a jump away, where I was spoilt for choice as I searched the store for a replacement for my rain-drenched skirt. At the show later that day, I wasn’t the only one drawn to this beautiful black and gold splattered print, as I spotted both men and women alike in the array of separates ranging from this skirt, to the shorts, jumper and the pants. As far as I’m concerned, great minds think alike.
