Lover “allegra” dress (similar), Glassons cardigan, Alexander emile tote, Charlotte Olympia kitty flats, Karen Walker belt, Marc by Marc Jacobs bolt bracelet
There’s nothing like ending a sunny day with a couple of drinks and good company to quickly whittle away the hours. I met up with Michelle and Nina after weeks of rescheduling to talk Christmas, life, and the inevitable, fashion. As I probably mentioned more than once over the course of a few hours, my obsession with Lover (the label) is at an all time high, most likely stemming from the acquisition of this dress from many seasons past. As I learnt through the course of the day, perhaps not the best idea to go with a long-sleeved dress when the sun is shining its strongest and you are Christmas shopping. Live and learn!
Hey is that title from Alice in Wonderland ? Just wondering, since I wrote a review of the movie (school assignment some time ago) and while google’ing I saw that same in Finnish, it stuck to my head, and I put it as headline to my article .. but I couldn’t find info anywhere again whether it was even from the book or not ! 😀
AND about your outfit, I think I’ve said this before but I really love that cardigan and I’m also smitten about those kitten flats.. Adorable. 🙂 Really lovely look !
+ I didn’t send cards either! Didn’t find time to make them after all. So don’t feel bad 😉

Perhaps subconsciously it is, or it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that there is similar phrasing in that book. Kind of reminds me that I should read those again, at my parents place I have Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking glass, two of my favourite books while growing up.
Christmas cards are so hard! I can never understand how people find the time.

You look wonderful!
Aaahhhhhh I wore my Allegra some time last week. I always get a somewhat nostalgic feeling wearing it. The Allegra was one of my earlier Lover purchases and still loooove it to bits!
I love love your Kitty flats too. My burgundy ones just came in the mail yesterday hehe. I have this hankering feeling that the black will somehow make its way into my ‘paws’ sooner or later.

I love wearing, re-wearing and rediscovering items of clothing in my wardrobe. It does make me something of a hoarder though as I always intend to get plenty of use out of the things I buy. Lovely shape and versatility to this dress.
How lovely that you live in Wellington as is Michelle. I just love how you put clothes together. Unfussy and chic.
I love this outfit, that cardigan looks so cosy!
