On my wishlist: Arket Short Oversized Trench Coat

As you’ll probably know by now, I have a few shopping rules I try and stick to when buying something new. The main one being a 30-day cooling off period; a simple trick but more often than not, it stops me from suffering buyer’s remorse. Generally at the end of the 30 days the item is still available, and if I’m lucky, I might snag it at a discount. But sometimes, I end up missing out on items that have really caught my fancy. A/W Style Staple: Chunky Knit Sweaters

Currently living for oversized knit sweaters. The chunkier – and cosier – the better. Frosty mornings have hinted at cooler weather to come, and I’ve been enjoying mapping out my A/W wardrobe, which includes an update to the base colour palette of my wardrobe. wearing L’Envers “johnny” sweater; Assembly Label shorts; Kindersalmon trench coat via W Concept (10% off sitewide with “mademoiselle10”); Muru Jewellery necklace; Mejuri bracelet; Missoma bracelet I’ll typically wear a lot of black during winter (#monochromestyle), but have been enjoying re-introducing a bit of navy to my closet. New in at Mecca this month

I’ve been trying out quite a few new products over the last few weeks, and I thought instead of trying to recap it all in my end of month beauty edit, I’d break things up a little. Autumn Outfit #4: Babaa knit + camel mini skirt

Making an effort with my outfits has been one of the many ways I’ve been instilling a sense of normality into my day. It may not be for everyone, but for some reason I’ve always found putting on a little bit of makeup, or a cute outfit gives me a good boost of motivation; something I need in spades as I try to juggle being mum to a newborn while working at the same time. Wearing Babaa no17 sweater; Lune Resort central skirt; Everlane editor slingback pumps; Chanel vintage classic flap bag; Laura Lombardi earrings; Missoma bracelet One of the…

My Style Manifesto for 2020

Over the past three and a half months, I’ve referred back to my style manifesto countless times. Usually at the start of each year, I’ll set myself some “style resolutions”. It’s a half-hearted attempt for me to try and push the boundaries of my style. Wear more colour, and all that. But it’s never really worked for me, and towards the end of 2019, I decided I wanted to start the new decade fresh, with an outline of what I wanted my style to look like. The tough part? Actually sticking to it. Pictured above from L to R: Arket…
