Sezane Autumn 2019 Clothing Review

I’ve been talking about giving Sezane a second chance for months now. My first order was a complete disaster, but having heard so many good things about the brand (from bloggers and also from many of you who shared your own experiences with me), I felt it was unfair to judge it purely based on the one shopping experience. The Spring/Summer collection didn’t really speak to me, but I was smitten with so many pieces from the Sezane Autumn 2019 drop. After sharing on Instagram that I’d actually placed a second order, I had a couple requests to do a…

Adding prints & patterns to your wardrobe

Happy Monday! I thought it was about time I started to get through my backlog of images, starting with this monochromatic transitional season look. We’re slowly edging out of trench coat weather (today was a glorious 23 deg C), but I really loved this outfit I wore a few weeks back for so many reasons. Tonal looks are always something I’ve found effortlessly chic. Opting for a simple colour scheme like this really elevates an outfit, adds richness through texture, and looks sophisticated. I’m pregnant!

I’m so thrilled to finally be sharing the news with you, that I’m pregnant! We’re at the halfway point now, and so excited to be welcoming our little one into the world in early March 2020.  I’ve shared this on both my Instagram, and in a bit more detail on YouTube, but I don’t think it ever occurred to me just how difficult starting (or growing) a family might be. The path to pregnancy isn’t always straightforward, and ours has been anything but. In February 2018, shortly after confirming we were expecting, I found out that I had an ectopic…

Stakes Day 2019: What to Wear

The final day of the Spring Racing Carnival is Stakes Day, also known as as Family Day. While it’s still recognised as a fashion event, the closing day of the Spring Racing calendar is a lot more relaxed, and a great time for the whole family to dress up and enjoy. Many parents opt to bring their children along, and get them involved in fashion on the fields. The dress code still applies – so no shorts or belly buttons on display; it’s just a more informal look compared to other race days. Wearing MLM Label floral dress (mini version),…

Sezane Fall 2019 October Picks

I’m not sure if it’s been the less than stellar Spring weather this past week, but once again I’ve found myself scrolling through Sezane’s new Fall release. After umm-ing and ahh-ing on a few pieces from their September drop, I bit the bullet on a handful of purchases. Of the five pieces I selected, I ended up keeping just two; the Chuck sweater (which is not itchy at all despite the mohair content), and one of their organic cotton tees. I wanted to put my money where my mouth was and get a real sense of how Sezane knitwear ages.…
