Reformation Clothing Review & Try-On: Is it Worth it?

I’ve been pretty vocal about my efforts to try and shop sustainable first when it comes to adding to my wardrobe, and aside from Sezane, the LA-based brand Reformation had ranked quite highly on my list of brands to try this year. With room for one more summer wardrobe addition, and a gap in my closet for basic black skinny jeans, I thought what better opportunity to place my first order from Reformation. Wearing Reformation ‘peach’ dress, Everlane editor flats, Linjer cross body bag, Mejuri diamond necklace, editor hoops & pearl ring, Missoma interstellar necklace Given the Reformation experience is…

Full Face of Tarte Make-Up | Brand Review

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a full face brand review, and after giving these products a fair go over the last couple of months, I finally wanted to talk through my thoughts. The brand in question is Tarte, a brand which heroes naturally-derived ingredients in their products, and avoids those chemical nasties like paragons, sodium lauryl sulphate and triclosan. My love for Tarte started a few years ago, when I placed my first order for one of their cult eyeshadow palettes, and it’s been on my radar ever since. So today I’m sharing a full review of a…

How to make the most of your wardrobe

This year has been about introducing fewer but better items into my wardrobe. I’ve been replacing the urge to shop for something new with the opportunity to look at what I already own with fresh eyes. It’s kept me inspired to be creative with what I have, but also find comfort in a familiar uniform. I know I’ve said this a few times already, but intention and longevity have been huge drivers behind the style purchases that I have made. Wearing White by FTL tank (I love the look of this one), ASOS denim skirt (similar here), Yoli+Otis blazer (old…

Spring Outfit Ideas

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I’m coming at you with a quick post for all my Northern Hemisphere, with 10 spring outfit ideas. I recently shared a mini-lookbook featuring some of my favourite spring trends, and how I would be styling my outfits if we were heading into warm weather. Mostly, I’ve gotten into two key colour trends: blue and neutrals. Blue wash denim is a year round staple, so it’s been fun seeing that classic hue creep into stores and from what I can tell, it’s a pretty big colour for the season. I’ve got a couple of blue-based floral…

The March Beauty Edit ‘19

It felt like March came and went in the blink of an eye. We spent the earlier part of the month travelling around New Zealand’s South Island (I shared ou full itinerary for the trip HERE), and the latter part catching up with old friends who were staying at our place. Perhaps as a consequence, I ended up finding myself reverting back to my old favourites for the most part so my March Beauty Edit is going to be pretty light compared with previous months. The Makeup Edit NARS Skin Deep Eyeshadow Palette (also here) | I am a bit…
