Summer 10×10 Capsule Wardrobe (2018)

I think we can all agree by now that as much as I aspire to be more intentional with my purchases – opting for quality and classic silhouettes over quantity and trend-led items – I’m no minimalist. I gave up the capsule wardrobe a couple years back which felt and still feels freeing, but I love a good wardrobe challenge – it’s a reminder that we can do more with less, and it forces you to think outside the box for your outfits. In anticipation of the next wave of Lee’s 10×10 Capsule Wardrobe Challenge, I held a poll on…

Tips for Buying a Quality Watch

You only have to take a peek at a couple of my ‘What I Wore in a Week’ videos to see that there’s generally a pretty common thread; my watch. I’ve been wearing my Linjer ‘classic’ watch for over a year now, and it’s become a real defining element of my personal style. Wardrobe Heroes: Check Blazer

I like to think of my style as constantly evolving and becoming more refined, as I slowly settle into outfit combinations or even particular items that I just feel good in. A couple of the wardrobe heroes that I’ll be featuring throughout this mini series have actually been style staples that I’ve added to my wardrobe over the course of this year, and perhaps the one that’s stood out to me the most has been this check blazer from Storm. We can probably all agree that I’ve been talking about adding colour to my wardrobe for years. And I mean years. But no matter how hard I’ve tried to like colour in the past, I always find myself tip-toeing back to a wardrobe filled with key neutral pieces. But, as I’ve continued to build up my core classic wardrobe, it’s felt more and more as if something was missing. And I’m sure you know where I’m going with this… Wearing Storm sweater, Storm pleated skirt (affordable option here), Everlane suede pumps, Zodiac bags, Anthropologie earrings, Linjer watch 2018 has been…

Mid-Year Sale Picks & What I Bought

This year has been all about shopping smart; buying a house and diving head first into renovations has meant that my wardrobe has taken a bit of a back seat (not that it really needed much work…). So, I made a little bit of a rule to only buy things on sale, while also implementing the 30-day rule. I’m a serial browser, and I think you all know that stress often gets the better of me, so having a few mechanisms in place to reinforce my desire to shop for intention has been a big focus, especially as making our…
