Lemaire Croissant Bag Review

If there is ever a bag that (silently) screams quiet luxury, this is it. The Lemaire Croissant Bag. A semi-matte finish, relaxed crossbody style, with its playful design, inspired by the iconic French pastry. For me, it was one of those thought out, well considered splurges, and I was lucky to manage to get it 10% off during an SSENSE flash sale. Aside from the functionality, I was drawn to the minimalist design and lack of logo. After more than 12 months of wear, I figured it was time to do a Lemaire Croissant Bag Review – something I hope…

A week of early winter outfit ideas

Sharing some early winter styling inspiration this Monday morning. Thinking about the core items many of us have in our closet, styled up in chic, effortless variations. The best part is that this combination of pieces are easily interchangeable – one of the reasons I put so much emphasis on finding the right items for your personal style and your wardrobe. Good building blocks that can be styled up again and again. Basically, working to fight that feeling of having a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear. Which outfit is your favourite? Arket Review 2023

Of the seven (clothing) brands nestled under the H&M Group, Arket has to be my favourite. They’re positioned as more of an eco-conscious brand, with Scandic-chic timeless essentials. Think wardrobe basics in core neutrals with the occasional burst of colour, and high quality materials (which often includes recycled fibres). And so far, so good. I’ve yet to be…

Autumn Most Worn ’23

Time for another seasonal update on what was on heavy rotation. This time, for autumn. Or as I’ve been joking; autumn “lite”. It’s probably worth noting that it was milder than usual, and even now, into winter, I’m still heading out every other day with bare legs. One of the perks of living in Sydney; its mild climate.  I’ve collated the data slightly differently this time around, combining the wear count on styles where I have multiples. To me, what I’m really trying to analyse here is the style itself. While colour can be a factor, in my very neutral…

A week of trench coat outfit ideas

As I type this, I’m sitting here in a sleeveless top, with my ankles bared. Winter may have begun, but it’s yet to enter the chat. So for days when I’m in the mood for layering, I’m leaning on a transitional season favourite; the classic trench coat. I’ve got three styles here which lean a little more classic, but in a worsted wool with a soft fluid drape to it. If you’re a regular around here, then you’ll pick up on the usual styling tricks I feature weekly. Rule of thirds; colour balancing; tonal styling; blocks of colour; use of…
