The Best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023

That time of year is here… the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is upon us for 2023, and as I typically do, I wanted to share a round up of my favourite finds from the sale. I’ve gone through every single page, and cherry picked the best of the best (in my opinion). For those of you who don’t know why this sale is such a BIG deal, basically you’re getting access to new season stock, at up to 40% off. A great way to save on your seasonal wardrobe budget. Five ways to style UNIQLO’s Pleated Wide Pants

Whenever I’m considering a new wardrobe purchase, a few questions cross my mind. Do I like the fit? How does the fabric feel? Does the colour work within my existing wardrobe? Is it within my budget (and what I’m willing to pay)? Is it reflective of my actual life, or a fantasy self purchase? But the one question that will always seal the deal? Style Tip: The Unexpected Choice

As we all seek out tricks to express our visual voice in new and interesting ways, I wanted to share a style tip which is easy to implement and can have maximum impact. Opting for the unexpected choice. We have the white cotton poplin dress with tiered pleats. An oversized trench coat in a neutral beige…

A week of mid-winter outfits

Forever in my “all neutrals” era, though the thing my eye is drawn to most here is the simple styling. I’ve had a bit of a dialogue lately around fit, and how we’re seeing a shift back towards slimmer proportions. Which to me is interesting; reflective of the “Sofia Richie Grainge” effect and “quiet luxury”. But I think also, reflective of how the world is starting to open back up again. When we do crave comfort, it’s in less of a slouchy, oversized kind of way. I do love a bit of proportion play – time and a place –…

Beauty Top 3: June ’23

One thing I was reflecting on recently, is how our beauty routine ebbs and flows. From an elaborate multi-step regime, to one that is pared back. Minimal even. And right now, I’m finding myself in the latter camp. Less desire to try or use new products, instead focusing on a handful of core staples. Seeking out something new to try only when an empty pops up rather than on a whim like before. It reminds me a lot of my routine in my late teens and early twenties. Prior to discovering the world of skincare. Despite not having a robust…
