Five reasons why a tin of NIVEA Creme should be stashed in your vanity

Like my wardrobe, when it comes to investing in beauty – whether it’s on the budget end of the scale or bordering on luxury – I’m always on the hunt for products that do double, or even triple duty. Versatility is key, particularly if you’re focused on building up your essentials, and the latest addition to my beauty shelf – a tin of the hardworking NIVEA Creme – has been just that. One of those rediscovered old favourites, NIVEA Creme is an incredible multi-purpose intensively hydrating moisturiser, which I’ve since found myself seldom leaving the house without. What I love…

New in: Celine Trotteur Bag in small

The latest – and spend-iest – addition to my wardrobe is the Celine Trotteur Bag (also here), in a black grained calf leather in the small size; an impulse sale purchase I found myself unable to say ‘no’ to, and one I’m glad I promptly pulled the trigger on. I’ve been after a smaller black handbag which I could use on weekends, when I’m lugging around a little less than on a normal workday, but that was also classic and unassuming enough that it would also work for an evening out. Styling up a cotton maxi dress

Grana pima cotton maxi dress* (10% off using the code JAMIExGRANA), Isabel Marant blazer (collarless here and I also love this one), Tibi heels (similar here and affordable here), Celine small trotteur bag (medium size here) I’m the kind of girl who always tries to look beyond the obvious way to wear something; I say this time and time again, but I want my wardrobe to do double duty, and I like everything hanging in my closet to really earn its keep. So when this cotton maxi dress from Grana came my way, I started to think about how I…

Packing light: What I packed in my carry on for five days in New Zealand

We’ve just returned from a five day trip to Auckland, New Zealand, and while I’ve shared a bit of a sneak peek into my suitcase here, I thought I’d download a little on what I’m glad I packed into my carry on, and what probably could have stayed at home. WEATHER FORECAST For those of us residing in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s the early end of winter, which as you can imagine means frosty mornings, bitterly cold winds, and rain – plenty of it, too. I used the weather forecast in Sydney as a bit of a guide, as I…

Winter Wardrobe Lookbook 2017

Now that winter has well and truly arrived, I wanted to share some of my current favourite cold weather outfits. We’re pretty lucky to have mild winters in Sydney, so heading out for the day with bare legs isn’t something that is always out of the question. The biggest stand out from my winter wardrobe has hands down been this beautiful mauve wool coat from Wilson Trollope; designed by my school friend Annabelle, the soft blush hues help to break up what is primarily a monochromatic wardrobe. I’d love to know which look is your favourite, and you can shop…
