Autumn Minimal Capsule Wardrobe 2016

Today, I’m really excited to be sharing my autumn capsule wardrobe with you all. As much as I love the summer time, I’m looking forward to being able to layer up and wear more than just a silk cami and a skirt on the regular. Rather than follow the guidelines for Project 333 or the 30×30 Wardrobe Challenge, I’ve created some rules of my own which are much more suited to my own lifestyle. I’m narrowing it down to 30 pieces of clothing – gym gear, shoes, bags and accessories are not included. I’m still in the process of finalizing…

Rosaviola

Diptyque limited edition candle in Rosaviola The moment I laid eyes on the petal pink frosted glass of Diptyque’s Valentine’s Day candle for 2016, I knew I had to have it. The essential cashmere sweater

Everlane cashmere crew sweater, Karen Walker skirt (similar alternative) Continuing the essentials series with the cashmere sweater; a piece that I’m seldom without, regardless of the season. Spring/Summer ’16 Wardrobe Recap

It’s been a while since the last time I recapped my seasonal wardrobe, and I have to admit, I’m finding it hard to believe that Summer is close to over what with temps in the late 20s to early 30s. Building up the basics for the most part took a back seat as I’ve been trying to invest in a little more colour and texture, while playing with some new proportions and styles. As much as I love the focus that having a capsule wardrobe has given me, sometimes a girl just wants to have fun! New wardrobe staples /…

What to wear to a wedding (part 1)

Acne Studios layne tuning dress, Isabel Marant heels, Lulu Guinness box clutch With a wedding to attend in July, and my own coming up later this year, I figured that there was no time like the present to talk wedding etiquette, or more specifically, what to wear. I’ve spent quite a bit of time trying to track something down for my future brother-in-law’s wedding (set in the picturesque countryside just outside of Florence!) and admittedly, after months of searching, decided to break one of my own rules… So, if you’d like to learn a little more about what I consider…
