The long and short of it

Hope shirt, Country Road check shorts, Stuart Weitzman razmataz loafers, Celine cabas tote w/ gusset The working week is generally reserved for pencil skirts, floaty shell tops and heels so high that I have to carry a backup pair of flats in my handbag (#reallife). But the weekends? The weekends are for fuss free shorts and oversized shirts which feel like (and almost resemble) a pair of cosy pajamas. Shoes and make-up are optional, of course. Get the look:

Christian Dior ‘Addict’ Lip Glow

Christian Dior Addict Lip Glow When it comes to lipstick, my approach is almost as relaxed as it is in the kitchen, if not more so. I probably wear lipstick about 10% of the time, which is why I decided I would give the Christian Dior ‘Dior Addict Lip Glow’ a shot. It’s the kind of lipstick which doesn’t bear thinking about. Little Black Dress

Karen Walker ‘take change’ dress, Alexander Wang anjelika sandals, Cuyana tote bag (similar here) The Little. Black. Dress. It’s times like these that I wish getting a back up wasn’t out of the…

But on those evenings where I feel like reading something a little light, and something a little about fashion, I’ve been turning to Grace. Coddington’s memoirs are an unabashedly a candid account of her loves, her life, and all its misgivings. But most of all, it’s about Vogue.…

What’s in my handbag? | the Celine trio edition

We’re more than halfway through the 30×30 wardrobe challenge, and while I’m questioning my decision to only include suede closed toe shoes on a day that is pouring down with rain, I’ve found the bags that I selected (the Celine trio and cabas) to both align pretty closely with my lifestyle, and the weather. So on that note, I thought I would give you all an idea of what I carry around in my handbag on a daily basis – notwithstanding the days I take my Celine cabas to work, as in addition to the items below, you’ll usually find…
