Blue washed denim

image source: tumblr I’d hazard a guess that most women have a pair of blue washed denim hidden away in their wardrobes, or strewn haphazardly across the back of a chair. They’re the easiest thing to throw on during a lazy weekend, running errands and catching up with friends, yet somehow they’re one of the few things that my own wardrobe has been lacking all these years. Pinpointing why wasn’t difficult, because if there’s anything I dislike as much as shopping for swimsuits, it’s shopping for a pair of jeans. Maybe it’s about being in the right mindset, or maybe…

The mule sandal

Opening Ceremony Jindo heeled sandals (in black or the flat version) More sandals for winter – goes against the grain a little, doesn’t it? But given that in mid-July a jacket-less, bare legs excursion outdoors is not out of the question, I’d almost peg them as an evening necessity. Whilst I’m not generally one to give in to the trends of the season, a little bit of forward planning never hurt, especially when you’re buying on sale. Nourish bowls

I try to eat healthy. Well, mostly. Oats with sliced banana every morning, a salad or casserole for lunch and dinner, with plenty of fruit in between. I guess that doesn’t sound half bad, until you factor in the daily sweet treats which have proven too difficult to resist. I may have slipped a couple times already, but I…

On finding the perfect pair of black heels

image source – tumblr It would seem I am always looking for something. The perfect pair of jeans, the perfect sweatshirt, the perfect shade of red lipstick. Though I’m always quick to make allowances. Finding the perfect anything is nigh on impossible, especially when considering how quickly our tastes are likely to change. Two weeks, six months, one year from now; will you still be just as enamoured with your ‘perfect’ piece as when you first bought it? Experience would tell me no, however shoes are a completely different story altogether. Finding the right shoe is like hitting the sartorial…

The shoulder bag

A.L.C hutton shoulder bag Truth be told, I’m not really in the market for a new bag, but a quiet weekend in with a little too much extra time on my hands – a rarity if there ever was one these days – always sees you seeking out the unnecessary. The four pairs of sandals I desperately need even though I can barely feel my toes with the winter chill, the gold and silver fine rings to delicately sit between my knuckles, or a new leather shoulder bag; because a girl can never have too many bags… right? I’m all…
