The leather jacket

Tibi peplum top (cheaper alternative), Frame Denim jeans, Acne mape leather jacket, Opening Ceremony sandals (similar style), Celine trio Sometimes the best purchases are the ones which you wait months to make. Painstakingly saving every last penny, and forgoing those morning coffees and afternoon pick-me ups just to get there a little quicker. I’ve never been one for waiting; three months seems almost a lifetime when patience is not exactly one of my many virtues. But as they say, some things are worth the wait, and the purchases worth waiting for are usually the most rewarding. The item in question?…

The ‘go-to’

Witchery cable knit sweater, Lover jungle slither skirt, Cuyana leather tote bag The go-to. The ‘because it’s easy’, the ‘because I don’t want summer to end’, the ‘effortlessly thrown on before dashing out the door’. We all have them, those carefully calculated, easily put together looks. Marcus wears ASOS jacket, shirt & shorts, Zara knit, H&M hat (similar), Unif loafers and Alexander Wang clutch Powder blue is having a bit of a moment, and I’m not the only one that’s noticed. Marcus (of Martan) pulls it off with aplomb, in a crisp two piece short suit. Breaking up the cool blue hues with texture, print, and some serious shoes, he shows us all how it’s done. Get the look:

On… Frame Denim

Bassike heritage stripe t-shirt, Frame Denim jeans (also available here), Helmut Lang blazer (also available here), Zimmermann chelsea boots, Proenza Schouler PS11 There are the kinds of outfits that are just easy. You throw it on, and you know it’s going to work before you even look in the mirror – the kind of outfit you have as a back up for when all else fails. For me, it’s always dark denim with heeled boots and an oversized jumper of partially tucked in t-shirt, with a blazer if I’m planning on looking ‘smart’. Denim was among the many things that…
