Pulling out florals

Ashley Fogel jumper, Acne skirt, Witchery silver ballet flats, Mimco starlight necklace, Marc by Marc Jacobs katie bracelet, Karen Walker sunglasses I’ve currently been loving the look of a pale grey jersey paired with soft prints of any description, florals in particular. It’s almost like an ode to Spring, with nods to the omnipresent pastel trend that seems to appear in stores this time of year, and a softer palette that is a reflection of the warmer days that come along with the season. I get that this is about as new as sliced bread, but it never ceases to…

Patience

Kate Sylvester top, girl. by Band of Outsiders skirt, Glassons cardigan (similar), Witchery shoes, Alexander Wang bag, Diva necklace, Gorjana bracelet While I’ve never found a purchase to warrant the need to put it on the moment I get home and prance around all evening, I usually find myself wanting to wear it at the soonest available opportunity. New bag addition

Alexander Wang ‘devere’ leather bag Not quite on the Spring wishlist I set for myself less than two weeks ago, I was unable to resist the opportunity to nab this Alexander Wang devere bag which I had mentally added to my wishlist when I saw it in San Francisco last year. Barrage of stripes

Comme des Garcons Play stripe top, Karen Walker skirt, Helmut Lang blazer, Topshop shoes, Cheap Monday & Karen Walker rings Oh yes, another outfit with yet another striped top. I suppose the cat is out of the bag; I tend to wear stripes quite often, considering that they make up a large proportion of the tops that I do own. So in a way, you could be grateful that the assault of stripes is not as furious as it could be. Having blogged for a number of years, under Mademoiselle, pagesixxx, and other names which I appear to have momentarily…

Packing for a weekend getaway

Vintage boots, Karen Walker and necklace from Taipei, Topshop jeans, Sandro dress, Glassons cardigan, Kate Sylvester top It’s not often that I go away for brief periods of time, as I usually find myself daydreaming about travelling around more of Europe, or setting foot in Asian countries I haven’t yet been too and focus most of my energies on saving up for that. So somewhat ironically, it’s these shorter trips that I find myself struggling to pack for, as I follow my mantra of packing light. Heading up to Auckland this evening for a couple of nights, with little notion…
