Makeup Christmas Gift Guide 2022

This one’s for the makeup lover. In the past, I’d usually combine makeup and skincare, but there was so much good stuff to share that this is now something of a two-parter. I’ve said it before, but beauty – makeup – it’s a great gift from “me” to “me”. This is one of the things I’ll typically treat myself too. For 2022, it’s the NARS Palette, which I couldn’t resist; the shadows always perform well, and that soft lilac was the major drawcard for me.  You all know how much I love cream face products, and I thought this trio…

Home & Decor Christmas Gift Guide

This Christmas, it’s home and decor that I’m most enthusiastic about. Might have something to do with our current renovation… But I digress, it’s another great idea to gift to a loved one. A lot of my favourites tend to toe that line between aesthetics and functionality. A little bit of colour thrown in here and there to add warmth and excitement. Quirky touches which make a house a home. 20% off at Jenni Kayne!

A very quick sale PSA before I head to bed, to share that you can now get 20% off at Jenni Kayne with the code ‘MADEMOISELLEJAIME20‘. My top three favourites from the brand are; the Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan (so cosy and soft, and the perfect slouchy fit – also comes in a cropped length!). Of course I had to mention the Oversized Crewneck (cotton and recycled cashmere blend, super relaxed fit and so easy o wear). And finally, the Long Sleeve Willow Blouse (airy and gauzey, this drapes beautifully and the collarless design is ideal for showcasing dainty necklaces). Finally,…

Fragrance Christmas Gift Guide 2022

One of the things I love about fragrance is that it has this tangible ability to evoke such strong memories. Certain scents will bring on a wave of nostalgia; this warm and fuzzy feeling, as I relive those special moments through my favourite perfumes. It’s for that reason that I love it as a gift to give. It can feel quite intimate, too, so always worth going in with an idea of what types of scents the recipient enjoys. Or a top-up of a favourite is always welcome, I find! Failing that, a reed diffuser or a luxury candle are…

A week of cosy outfits

This week’s outfit inspiration (a day late, sorry!), features five cosy outfits. Inspired by our inclement weather here in Sydney, and my recent obsessed with the fluid drape trouser (summer looks to come). As usual, I’m up to my old tricks. Tonal dressing, adding in cosy texture, and utilising the half tuck where possible. Though I do feel like I’ve upped the ante on the comfort factor with my choice of footwear. Sneakers are always a good idea. OUTFIT #1 | Jenni Kayne half zip sweater (15% off with JamieLee15); Gentle Herd trousers (20% off with JAMIE20); Veja sneakers; Andersons…
