Three A/W Wardrobe Staples & The Iconic Clearance Event

A handful of the A/W staples I have on heavy rotation? A great knit, some tailored trousers, and a trusty pair of chelsea boots. The latter being one of my OG core wardrobe heroes, dating back to my early twenties. When you know, you know. Wearing AERE Label cotton/cashmere knit (size AU8); AERE Label cotton trousers (size AU8); AERE Label black chelsea boots (size AU9); Louis Vuitton neverfull bag For some notes on the items I’m wearing… starting with the knit sweater. Tapered black trousers w/ the Marle Darcie Cardigan

Winter has been off to a pretty mild start, and I’m not complaining as it means I get to stretch out those “transitional” season outfits for a little while longer. My mornings have been pretty rushed. A juggle between getting our two-year-old ready for daycare (or just entertained), and feeding our baby girl. My outfits have been rooted in ease, and seeking comfort in styles which appear elevated. This outfit was case in point. Trousers in a cotton sateen with a soft shine (workwear-worthy), worn with the beautiful cashmere Darcie Cardigan from Marle (pictured here in speckled ink – PR).…

Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan Review

Spoiler alert; the moment this soft, snuggly knit arrived on my doorstep, I knew it was going to be a winner. I found myself reaching for it almost daily for a few reasons. It’s cosy and warm (perfect as we hurtle towards mid-winter), I adore the colour (I have the russet brown), and I love the way the slouchy fit either complements or adds a shapely component to my outfits. Of course, I’m talking about the Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan.  Get 15% off any Jenni Kayne purchase with the code ‘JamieLee15’ Having seriously put this cardigan through its paces,…

Wearing the Marle Agnes Jacket

There aren’t too many items which land in my closet, that I find myself reaching for day, after day, after day. But the Marle Agnes Jacket is one such piece (PR), being the perfect weight for our mild Sydney winters. I’ve worn it here as part of a fairly monochromatic outfit. The quilted nature of the jacket adds in a nice touch of additional texture, and I love the silhouette. Boxy and ever so slightly sculptural, with rounded sleeves, and magnetic stud closure at the collar. It also straddles that line between being sporty casual, and dressed up. Feeling just…

VIVAIA Shoe Review

If there’s one item in my wardrobe that I’m fiercely passionate about, it’s shoes. For me, these are the key element which can absolutely transform the way an outfit looks. They can be used to convey a feeling of formality or ease, as a statement, or align some sense of balance through their colour or style. So today, we’re going to be talking allll about shoes, as I run through a VIVAIA shoe review. In partnership with VIVAIA, I’ll be chatting through four styles that I’ve added to my wardrobe from the brand. During the month of June, VIVAIA are…
